Says 'under refurbishment'. I'd guess they had a bit of cash flow issues and were hoping that someone would take it partly finished?

oh dear me, the trouble someone has gone to to effectively ruin every ceiling, that took some effort but why?

No one should, as the loft conversion obviously doesn't meet building regs.

It looks as if the owner has painted the nicely weathered tiles on the frontage a hideous colour, perhaps in the mistaken belief that it would bump up the kerb appeal.

They might as well have erected a sign saying, "A right nutter lives here!"
