Large 2 bed cottage, spot the sheep.
Saw this on the BBC yesterday - rather impressive.
Not sure I could live with such bold colours, but that may be the way the pics were processed rather than the real-life colours - or it could be real, the guy was an artist.
:rotfl:Artist Antony Dracup transformed the house before his death in 2002. His son Dennis said his father had chiselled much of the basement by hand.
"His persistence was rewarded with noticeably stronger chest muscles and extra living space," he said.0 -

That's amazing! Love the umbrella-like lampshade in pic 7...
If any of you boys buys this, please can I marry you? ;-)
(I'd take the castle... though I'd be thinking about the cottage...)0 -

Close to me, this one. Very nice, but not when the water-table is high. I recall the murder as well, absolutely awful.0 -
We have one like that locally, but in this case there's no doubt about the murderer.

They've changed the name afer failing to sell for a year or two while using the correct one..... Very sad.
(Picture 8 seems particularly apt. Knowing the agent, I think it might be deliberate.)

Locally, it's known as "The Dolls' House," but as a child I was always uneasy about its appearance. I used to pass nearby on the bus to school. It didn't look a friendly place.
Perhaps the proportions are not quite right.0 -

I agree; it looks creepy. I would feel the same even without knowledge of what happened there. I'm not into spirits/ghosties/mystic nonsense, but there's definitely something not quite right about that one.0 -

Pic 9 - rather odd partition that appears to be able to run up the length of the bed ...?0
