This was actually built to resemble Tracey Island :T
Imagine driving up to it going 'do do do do' etc :rotfl:, love it :jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Where is this garden they show a picture off, across the road?
I was hinting before that it would be a great place to put in a caravan/log cabin/whatever as an alternative residence for the summer, when the road is busier. There's just a question mark over flood potential.
The proximity of the road is the main concern, and it's true, houses like this are crashed-into. I have friends who live in two similarly-located properties and both have been hit in the past year. Mostly the cars come off much the worse! It's the lorries.....!
In this case I can't see why a crash barrier hasn't been installed, or maybe it has by now.
Anyway, the road is why it's cheap. See what else you can get in the area for that money and with enough 'alternative lifestyle' land!0 -
Actually looking at the area, is Branksome Park, Poole the place to live?
Designs are very "different", prices are extortionate, bet you couldn't live there and drive a Ford Fiesta to work in the local supermarket without raising a few eyebrows!!!
That is actually something I'd love to do!!
One thing you don't tend to see in Branksome Park is people walking. I stayed there for a few weeks in the 1980s and saw only a couple of people besides myself on foot. Even then, there were many gated developments.
The area had many old hotels which struggled to keep going. My guess is that many of them were bought relatively cheaply, demolished and properties like that, or blocks of flats, built in their place.0 -
