It's hard to tell, it could just be the angle the pic is taken at.
Love the range in the fireplace in pic 5.
When I saw pic 2, I was a bit confused as to why, in a 5 bedroomed house, there was a teeny kitchen in an alcove in the room, until I read that it's been turned into bedsits and flats.0 -

Obviously person using kitchen would have to be under a certain weight to negotiate between the arch wall & worktops to left & right.
No leaving cupboards doors open whist your doing 3 other things at one in that space!:j0 -
