I know this house has come up a couple of time on this thread. Are the Daily Mail so desperate for stories they've started stalking this thread and similar ones on other sites?! I know they don't mention MSE but they do mention Facebook and Mumsnet.

We should start a poll on the next house off this thread to go viral after this and the purple house!

Looks like a property developers dream purchase, they'll soon be in there with a fleet of bulldozers and have the land cleared and flattened in no time.

It's a bit rich for the Daily Fail to be using a phrase like "snob fest", it takes one to know one :mad:

I can imagine it going for much higher than the asking price as surely land in that area is very expensive. If I lived local I'd certainly be going to have a nosey in a hard hat and boots!

Looks like they have taken everything from in/on the house (see the bath!) and dumped it on the drive.

The Streetview pic was taken in August last year (15 months ago!:eek:) and from what you can see of the property (as large gates at bottom of driveway)- it looks in pretty good nick. I cannot believe a house can go into rack n ruin in a year.

I reckon the fly tipping looks like its from the company that are located next door - selling compost etc.
