I know this house has come up a couple of time on this thread. Are the Daily Mail so desperate for stories they've started stalking this thread and similar ones on other sites?! I know they don't mention MSE but they do mention Facebook and Mumsnet.
We should start a poll on the next house off this thread to go viral after this and the purple house!0 -
This sold for £650.000 in Oct 2008 http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-41770612.html

I can imagine it going for much higher than the asking price as surely land in that area is very expensive. If I lived local I'd certainly be going to have a nosey in a hard hat and boots!0 -
The roof has gone from lovely to falling apart in 5 years??
Edit: I've just zoomed in and can now see all the roof tiles have gone!
Looks like they have taken everything from in/on the house (see the bath!) and dumped it on the drive.
The Streetview pic was taken in August last year (15 months ago!) and from what you can see of the property (as large gates at bottom of driveway)- it looks in pretty good nick. I cannot believe a house can go into rack n ruin in a year.
I reckon the fly tipping looks like its from the company that are located next door - selling compost etc.0 -

The fire damaged house is one thing, but here's another that would probably need a house fire in order to get it updated. Grade 2 listed no less!

Oh yes: "A Grade 2 listed 2/3 bedroomed iron clad timber framed bungalow". I'm not fooled, it used to be a ruddy shed once upon a time.0 -
