maybe they spent a lot of time and money doing it all then realised just how utterly 'purple' it was, decided they hated it and moved straight out and put it on the market rather than have to live in it...... lol

Or their interior designer was colour blind and/or hated them?

Maybe they were desperate to sell, and decided a little time and money spend turning it all purple would be the best way to get massive free advertising. Like that bloke who wrote that "warts and all" description for a house with a crack in the ceiling and a window stuck an inch open and so on, and got a sale straight away when the thing went viral. It's a bit of a high risk strategy, though, unless you've got contacts in the right places.
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

As it's missing the "Do not use" tape and the air fresheners, it's probably an ex-rental. ;)
  • Back to the purple house. Surprised that they have not painted the outside purple too!

I'm reminded of the 'Bathouse' in Headingley, Leeds. Sadly no more I believe.

Good heavens. It's been like that for six years

The 200k price tag is probably off putting people. I wouldnt want to shell out that much on a house that needs a lot doing to it.. looks like it could be lovely given some time & money.
