What a ridiculous place to have on an Ag Tie site.

There are plenty of farms around Northam, though, Strapped.
Maybe the owners mistakenly thought they could get the Ag Tie overturned. There's a lot of people who take that gamble & come unstuck.
If they spent that much doing up a place in the hope of getting the planning changed then they must have wasted a lot of money.

No, it's historic PP, built on the foundations of something previously proposed, though I guess they still had to re-submit a new design, as I can't imagine that was quite what was first envisaged! :rotfl:

Torridge must be a soft touch. Haven't they got twice as many wind turbines as anyone else? Usually farmers who get those put up as well.

Anyway, plenty of 'farmers' who never get their hands dirty, who might fancy a spell messing about in boats, with nice meals afterwards in the well-reviewed eateries in Appledore. ;)
  • What on earth is in the bath?! Also surely the owner could have done a quick clean up with all the junk mail etc!

I was talking about that bathroom with my mum earlier.. she said 'coloured suites were all the range.. mark my words tehy will come round again... '.. so i googled and they are still avaliable in MANY colours :)

I had a friend who had a dark maroon suite installed when coloured bathrooms were the height of fashion and she hated it from moment it was installed - every single drop of water left a mark. After weeks of spending time "polishing" the water marks away only for someone to wash their hands in the sink and leave it covered in water spots again, she gave up.

    It's algae. :D

Ex rental. Fire blanket in kitchen gives it away.

It's not bad for that money and looks like the owner kept it decent for tenants. :)

It's an auction guide price, so will go for more, especially as it looks immediately lettable.

The area looks quiet and litter free on Street View, but we all know looks can be deceptive! ;)

It's a complete and utter sh*thole. A close relative lived a couple of streets away. The whole area is condemned and supposed to have been pulled down by now. Full of squatters and drug dealers, and the roads have traffic calming to deter the joyriders after dark. Notice the bars on front doors and downstairs windows. I'm not a wimp but I wouldn't live there. My relative just abandoned her house and left.
