But why, when the rest of the house is so bland, chose a mud coloured suite?
I suspect they didn't choose it all, it was there when they moved in, in good condition and they didn't want to buy a new suite. Really it's very minor, you can pick up white suites pretty cheaply and a bathroom can be updated in a few days, just factor it into your costs. It's not like it's some hideous 20ft falling apart kitchen with artex walls and ceilings!0 -

I know what you mean, being in a similar situation to yourself, but on reflection I'd say we're only just turning the corner & ours was actually in pretty much the same state as your link when we moved in two years ago! Now, if I could only find a pic of our disjointed loo, complete with cistern located on the floor above, lol :rotfl:Mortgage-free for fourteen years!
