I suspect they didn't choose it all, it was there when they moved in, in good condition and they didn't want to buy a new suite. Really it's very minor, you can pick up white suites pretty cheaply and a bathroom can be updated in a few days, just factor it into your costs. It's not like it's some hideous 20ft falling apart kitchen with artex walls and ceilings!
It looks as though it's been tarted up on the cheap by a developer, who thought that by sticking up some new tiles and painting everything white, no one would notice.
Makes you wonder where else they've cut corners. Hardly any sockets in the kitchen, for example.0 -
