Few would expect the garden that goes with this unassuming terraced house:

But how did they do it? There's no mention of a rear entrance, though it appears there was waste land behind when the last aerial photo was taken.
Pity about the A477....:(

If you look at the photo of the rear of the block, the second set of windows from the bottom look as though the bottom two thirds have been boarded over inside thus leaving the top section as window. First two from the left would fit pic 4 and then the third window would fit pic 5.
I may be very wrong, but that's what it looks like to me.

There is a block of flats near me converted from a school so the rooms were originally very, very high. The internal floor levels have been changed but the original windows had to be left. There are quite a few with different levels actually cutting through the original windows and the windows are blocked as in this one.0 -
