Makes you wonder what's wrong with the living room given you only get a picture of the fairly average fireplace.

I wonder whether the children in the first house are state educated.
You'd be surprised who used to be state educated until secondary level. Quite a few very well-heeled people sent their little ones to our state school, so that they'd have a broad mix of friends. Very £andy paren£s to £ave!;)
Admittedly, this was dying out when I retired, but I remember one little chap whose folks were separated and lived in adjoining 5 storey Georgian houses, each worth well over £1m in today's money. They put in an interconnecting door, so that the lad could just oscillate between them, at least in theory. His Dad was quite often away in the States.
His packed lunch, from the local deli, arrived by taxi. I'm sure he would have preferred cheese strings, a sandwich and a yogurt!

I thought it was fairly impressive tbh....big front garden and plenty of parking (and those views from the front) the back garden is enormous.....you can't see all of it in the pictures.....the grassed area is probably about half of the back garden....
I think they meant the size and not the landscaping......0 -

They've done a Ginormous extension. The trouble is that they are asking £310-350k, whilst neighbouring properties sold for £230-240k. There's a lesson to be learned there.....No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

....and on mine too......my parents had a suite the same shade of yellow - till they replaced it with one in a delightful burgundy colour. Not sure it was an improvement

We had a turquoise toilet and sink when we moved into our house. It was plonked in the middle of the room too so we used to have to hold the children onto the loo or they'd lean back and fall down the back of the loo .
Looks yellow to me too
