wmf the boys were extremely excited when we told them but what they don't know is they think we are only going for a week but we are going for two weeks but we won't tell them until nearly the end of the first week.
Boy is it a steamer tonight, I have the fans going and I'm still melting.I think its going to be a quick dive into the freezer tonight for some fish and anything I can find, as I really am too hot to cook much.Thank goodness for my Remoska as it cuts down on the cooking time and means the kitchen doesn't get too warm.
I hope JackieGs sisters wedding went o.k. I'm sure they are having a great time at the moment .We'll be hearing about it tomorrow when she surfaces no doubt.
went to the country park with the boys but the blackberries are not really big enough to pick just yet although they are the right colour I may see if they get a wee bit bigger by next week to get some in my freezer before we jaunt off.
Hope everyone has a good evening I have ten pairs of little boys trousers to check for repairs whilst I'm watching t.v. tonight,plus about a dozen small shirts as well to check for loose buttons .I want to get them done this week-end then they can go away until September.
right I'm off to forage for some dinner

have been outside with DH for the last few hours while he fitted my new radiator - after lots of swearing it finally got done:D:T

Just cooking a late tea of cheese and potato pie, beans and burger(quorn meatballs with mine)

lovely evening here, going to play footie with the dogs later. Need to get a ball with a bell in it for Mig as he cant really see where the ball is going - he has to rely on hearing it bounce or accidentally walking into it:D poor doggie, and as soon as he gets it Louie steals it off him! but Louie has given him a new lease of life after our old dog Flyn died.

Working weekend for me although tomorrow should be good as we're taking 2 service users to our local countryside show.

Just a quick one from me to say hope JG's sis's wedding went well, & the same for Dazi tomorrow. Happy Anniversary Sistercas. Lou & Jannyannie hugs for you both to help you cope with the family dramas. DP & DD have manflu/colds, & mine is the only lappy in the house working so in between playing nurse & getting ready for DM arriving tomorrow I'm not getting much online time

Well i sat in the garden and made myself a lovely little bag, first thing i have ever made, have got the bug now so going to hobbycraft tomorrow!

Had a lovely tea of roasted new potatoes with garlic and rosemary, and then some chicken on the bbq and salad, followed by LO lemon merangue pie and ice cream

Lou I was sorry to hear about your Nan ((((((Hugs)))))) don't let the b*d's get you down - they are totally out of order and you are better off without them. So don't you worry about having a rant we all do now and then and are never judged on it and receive lots of support from our virtual family x
