Good Morning All,

I can't believe I have just got up. DH normally wakes me around 7.30 and we usually get up together but this morning he left really early and must have sneaked around. Gosh I never sleep this late.

Bargainbird I picked up a great pad in H@me bargains for 99p it had a to do list down one side a just a list down the other, very useful and cheap.
Sistercas have a fab picnic
JackieG hope you have a lovely day:dance:
bethebee I am rhesus negative too, always had to have a big needle in my bum:eek:
Silvermaid glad you got back safely I hate the motorway when its like that.
Dazi good luck tomorrow

Well I also need to do food shopping and the bank this morning. I also need to pick up lots of padded envelopes for my ebay stuff which are the cheapest from the pound shop.
I am hoping DS3 will keep me company but he is still in bed at the mo. I need to trick him into calling into Mr T for some school trousers and he wont come if I mention it:p
DH fancies steak tonight so will see if I can find a bargain.
Tomorrow will be the usual clean up and then DD is calling with BF and DGS so will give him the potty book:D Saturday night we are DSS for a barbi as long as the weather holds and then Sunday over to Yorkshire to visit mum and dad.
At some time I :Dneed to make a large batch of cup cakes so I can give them to DD and DSS and then some to mum and dad, but I need to do some research on the icing as I wasn't happy with the last lot.
Off to listen to Zoe Ball, I love Popmaster and she is a scream doing it, she always presses the wrong button :rotfl:

Happy Friday all x

Morning all

Couldn't read and run, as wanted to wish JG and family all the best for the wedding.

Lou what a load of hollyhocks have a big (((hug)) from me too. Just remember you can pick your friends, but not your relations. People are responsible for their own actions, and blaming others is a load of tosh. You are still a member of the family - the blood line is there, they may want to ignore it, but they cannot change it.

:bdaycake: Belated Birthday wishes to the new poster from yesterday whose name has escaped me.

:bdaycake: Happy Anniversary Sistercas

The sun has just come out here, so let's hope for a nice day.

Take care all - DG

happy Friday all.....

hope everything goes well at the wedding Jackie G.......welcome to newbies and birthday greetings too.........

Was getting geared up for a quiet weekend but then friends who live a distance away have invited themselves to dinner tonight..wasnt too thrilled at first but then ds gf called to say ds been let home from the army at the last minute and is on his way home from the north..cue a couple of quick phonecalls and son got off first bus of three and now has a ride all the way home with them which means he will be home at least 3 hours sooner....The friends have definatly earned their dinner!........

So cake made, meat for barbeque defrosting, house sort of tidied and ds gf on bus to here....need to remake bed....put towels in dryer....decide what we are eating apart from meat........find the dining table under all the paperwork....and a few dozen more things.......all when I would much rather be browsing here.......

Hugs. spoons and positive thoughts to those in need.........Have a great weekend everyone.........

Morning all!
Ubamother and JackieO - I am so excited about your holidays!! The excitement you are both feeling comes across in your posts and always makes me smile. JackieO, I missed the bit when you told the boys about their holiday!
Molly - glad you slept better last night. Thinking of you.
JackieG - oooh hope it is all going well for your sister and b-in-law to be!

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
• Well it's a much better day here in Norfolk today, yesterday was a complete washout

Been for a lovely walk with the dogs this morning, they are hot so are currently snoring in front of the fan!

I've been saying it all week, but i'm going to sort out the cupboard under the stairs and have a clean downstairs, the floors need washing but need to hoover them first, but can't yet as OH asleep.

Think i shall put some washing in, then have to think what we are having for tea

Off to a good start- I made pancakes for the first time this morning - OH mentioned last night during our date night that nobody had made him pancakes in ages so I surprised him this morning and he loved them - gold star please :)
Have made my meatballs, fingers crossed for them lol, and got 3 portions of a cottage pie base all out of 1kg of mince, next kg is cooking for chilli, chicken is almost defrosted for curry and lamb is marinading for tagine. Another gold star I think :p
Washing is out drying, load of dishes done and about to bring down hoover for living room. Now to find the energy to nag OH to get off his behind and help me because despite what he thinks I don't love spending my days off doing this, it is just needed :)

Afternoon everyone. I'm on my break at work and just get a text from OH to say some idiot took our washing out the machine in the laundry room just after we put it on this morning! I can only assume that some lazy git decided 8:30 was far too early to get up and the machine disturbed them as it was turned off at the wall and our clothes still dry. Really? They are up howling on that floor until 1am every night! They trash the communal areas on my our floor, litter the gardens and spam our bells at 4am when they're drunk and have forgotten their keys. Luckily I'm moving on monday but OH will still be there for another month :(
Sorry for the big rant, hope everyone is well and sistercas that looks like a brill place, have a good day xx
