Music Zone in Administration

I have just read on the internet that Music Zone have gone into administration.

It must be dreadful to possibly lose your job just after christmas.

Does anyone know if they are still accepting Gift Vouchers or if they stopped like MVC did when they went into administration?

It's a shame. I liked Music Zone and the shops near me always seemed busy. I guess they were just too cheap.

MVC were a separate company totally unconnected to Music Zone. MZ were formed from a guy who started out on a market stall in Stockport. MVC was originally owned by Woolworths was it not?

hmm I could be wrong but it seemed very fishy that MVC went bust & then within a week or two a new company called "Music Zone" hit the high streets.:rolleyes:
Not to mention their extremely similar branding/logos etc etc

Music Zone bought some MCV stores when MCV went into Administration, maybe thats where some of you are getting confused.

Music Zone was a company while MVC were trading, think they were more in the north than anywhere else until MVC went bust and then they bought the stores to expand. Looks like that decision could have cost more than they thought at the time.
