Sitting in my armchair this morning (disability
) and it was raining outside, as I could see through my sitting room window.
Then a woman walks past, with her kagool on and the hood up .... with one of those back frames on, that contained a baby est 6 - 9 months old, with no coat on, and no head protection either.
Just how little regard do some people have for people other than themselves these days? But for babies? Animals behave better than this.
Next time you see a mother (loose term) out in the cold, with a baby in a pushchair and nothing on it's feet give them a reminder that sitting in a pushchair doesn't generate warmth like walking does.

i know it really annoys me in winter when you see poor mites without gloves and hats with blue fingers, mum of course really wrapped up'We're not here for a long time, we're here for a good time0

That just reminds me of what I saw in Asda last week. A young man shopping with a new born baby (a week old at the most), the poor baby was screaming bloody murder and was clearly distressed. He was only dressed in a vest and shorts, no socks or blanket and the man was taking his time in the cold aisle's, now I had goosebumps and I was wearing a long sleeved t-shirt! The poor baby must have been freezing! He was also just in a trolley seat, not a car seat holder trolley, but one of those with a hard plastic seat which he was far to small to be in and his little head was lolling all over.

Made me quite sad to see.:heart2: Newborn Thread Member :heart2:

It never ceases to amaze me about some adults and what they may or may not be thinking. Last winter I saw a very small baby being pushed in a stroller when there was deep snow outside. It was minus something-or-other and had been for weeks. The child had bare feet.0

I rarely bother putting Socks on Bobs feet - whats the point they just fall off or he pulls them off but its baking here so no need, in the winter he has snowsuits. He has also gone in the plastic laying down trolley seat from around 2-3 weeks, if I put him in the car seat one I'd be bumping into everyone and watch everyone moan then. I'm a good mum - couldnt give a stuff what some people on a forum think my little Bob is well cared for and loved even if I dont think he needs socks on - jes I'm not even wearing socks today, either is OH nor DD, DS is only wearing them because he wanted to put his trainers on whilst he went out to play in the rain huh done it again, letting him play out in the rain eeekk I must need reporting to social services.0

I once saw a man cycling along and he had a baby lying in the wire basket on the front of the bike. It looked so uncomfortable and dangerous. The bloke cycled over a speedbump and the baby bounced up in the air and then started screaming when he landed back down in the basket again. People were shouting at him, but the guy cycled away too fast.0 -
why mention that you have a disability? its hardly cold anywhere today so i hardly think a bit of rain will do any harm. probably do the opposite actually.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Have you got a guilty concience or something? Nobody said anything to you specifically and you're getting so defensive!
There is a huge difference between allowing children to go round with no socks in the summer than there is in cold conditions or minus temperatures!! *rolls eyes*Proud meowmy of four fuzzy cats

I don't know where you are but here it was really really warm and sunny this morning and then started raining at about 12. It's still really warm though.
DS and I went shopping, neither of us had coats and we got caught in a heavy downpour. We got drenched, maybe the mum you saw got caught out too. Its not going to kill a child to get wet on a warm day.0
