Im glad its not just me that gets lumbered :-) There is a lot of pressure on my shoulders to find two Wii's - hopefully they will be back in stock soon. Thanks for the info re the PS3 it was so hard finding one and I cant wait to see my BF's face on Christmas morning when he opens it up......he hasnt got a clue that I have got one for him he thinks he is getting PSP games and a CD :-)

How many wii sporting strains do you suppose there will be over the christmas period. Drinking & partaking in a game as though you are 15 years younger ... is there a cyber A&E as it's might get busy.

Fingers crossed all MSE get the wii they deserve & big thanks to those still fighting to save our christmases.

The trouble is, it starts being taken for granted when you conjure things up every year.;)

I first started to look around September when it was my eldest's birthday..loads of stock..but it was too early & no finance in place. When I finally came to look again..no stock.:eek:

When I told DH he just shrugged, totally disinterested & said you'll do it.

The kids know too that I tend to 'magic' things up. I've told them no stock & they just raised their eyebrows..they don't believe me I don't think, so it's so difficult making things a real surprize at Christmas.

I too ordered & collected a PS3 60gbpackage from woolies last month. So glad I did, they don't seem to be offering them now.

I am living over in Germany and Wiis are available in every shop you go in.

Suppose I could post them back to the UK if asked very nicely!

I just had an email saying my 2 from Germany were being despatched by DHL today, fingers crossed - these were from an online store for £192 each delivered and using Paypal (which was what I was looking for)

I have just been doing some sums

If I sell the 4 games I got with my bundle - take off Ebay and paypal fees = £75 at most. So I have paid £230 ish for a Wii

I want Wii Play and Mario Galaxy. So I could buy them with money from selling the games

So for the package I want I will still end up paying about £290!

I could one off Ebay cheaper, with alot less hassle .....

For anyone still looking I would keep an eye on Ebay for ones in your area to pick up - there are TONS, and they are working out about the same or less as these bundles the retailers are offering

The chances of getting a console only for £180 are sooooo slim. Everyone getting stock are selling them in bundles
