Stop showing your sour grapes. It's commerce supply and demand. I have NO doubt that the whole shortage was orchestrated by Nintendo to whip up a frenzy anyway so if anyone is to blame it is the marketing whizz kid at Nintendo.

Or on the other hand, the shortage could have been brought about by people who aren't in the slightest bit interested in owning a Wii but instead buying up what stock there is with the sole purpose of selling it on at inflated prices. That theory is not so much including the people who have ended up with extra Wiis or gone abroad to buy them etc

I have wii play with remote (not a console) reserved at Argos Cribbs today - Bristol if anyone wants the reserve code £35

Oh and it really is a laff someone - with oh yes a new user name - getting affronted as an MSE thread reader and user to exploit this thread by grabbing wiis and making a big profit on e bay - cmon you must be able to see the hypocrisy of it - ah mebbe not - go set up another username and post again mebbe lol

Got my name down at a couple of shops, not going to pay exorbitant ebay prices, just hope they get left with them. If i don't get one, the kids will go shopping in the new year for them.

I have a spare reservation code for Argos, but please only for yourself/family and not to sell on ebay for profit!
Needs collecting today, though.

I really do hope that the market is flooded in the next day or 2, so that ebay is full of Wii's that they cant sell, maybe they will become cheaper on ebay than the shops, that would be nice...

That would be good but unfortunately I don't think it is going to happen. Even if a million more wii's get into the country before xmas which is unlikely it still wouldn't be enough!
