merely saying if you register your charity interest at ebay, you will get your listing fee free as well. the charity get more out of it if you do it through the official channels on ebay as from what I can gather, ebay give them a percentage too.

also, for all you that are considering buying from ebay, don't forget quidco! lol

report it to law-enforcement@ebay.com - as per earlier post.

this man also sells n95 phones, and has already sold 105 wii's and 17 n95's. around £35,000 already, plus the £14,640 he will net from these sales.

has anyone heard of any lorries full going erm......missing?

Just reported to Hampshire Police who were disinterested and didn't want any details. They advised that it should be reported to eBay! Pretty bad service I would say, you can't confirm any wrongdoing but it looks extremely suss to me. I've tagged item for eBay attn anyhow! If it is above board then, lucky peeps purchasing, but I very much doubt, gonna watch the item and see what happens. Anyway just looked on Google Maps and whityham is in East Sussex, not Hampshire!

    Well Said

Back on the subject of actually getting the Wii - Has anyone tried Bol.com from The Netherlands?. They stock them and send to UK for 249 euros + delivery?

No they dont. They dont ship 'electronics' to the UK. Your order will be cancelled.

  • the amount of money that person is making on ebay in such a short space of time, really SHOULD ring alarm bells. the problem as i see it is, he is registered as a business on ebay.
i dont know if that would give him extra room to move or not.
it's just scary that people are being taken in by him. couple of days and you will start seeing the negs. i sincerely hope i am wrong, but i can't see it.

god keep it real guys were all human dont spoil my sat night im havin fun getting drunk

i was just getting me point across im truly soory if i ofeended but someone made me sound like some fraud at least im offering some money too them not like others who are profting 100% on every auction

    well dont you think?

    Fair enough.

I had a couple of Wiis spare after a reserving splurge at Argos and I sold them to a couple of families who were desperate for one - for the price I paid for them.

But, we live in a supply and demand economy - we all have different thresholds for what we think is OK and what makes us feel uncomfortable. I was just leaping on one minor point of a previous post like the true pedant I can be and asking if you really think actions are justifiable if someone else would do it if you didn't.

But that's unfair as I'm sure nobody thinks that as we all have to be at peace with what we do so we can sleep at night. Talking of which...have a good one everybody.

Just seen that item and was surprised to see them going for so cheap, is it definetly a scam meaning I shouldn't buy?

    Thanks

Well not sure I am going to bother with Wii. Had my kids friends round and they did not rate it ! Said lack of games and soon became bored with wii. Great fun for the first hour or so,

Yes they are cheap junk, with awful graphics best suited for little kids. For adults the boredom curve is very rapid. Will keep everyone amused on Christmas day though.

If you want a real games console for adults or older kids get an Xbox 360.
