Bethebee if you or someone you know has a vax, you could suck the water out with that, or maybe hire a carpet cleaner to get most of it out, I know that's not the cheap option, but better than ruined upholstery or a seriously stinky car!

  • Morning fellow OS's

Its raining here which didn't make for a very nice dog walk this morning. I now have 2 soggy dogs snoring. OH is still in bed after a night shift

As for today, i have no idea what we are doing, Think i'll head upstairs and carry on tidying up, got some ironing too and as it's cooler today it seems the perfect day for it.

Wondering if i will hear whether i got the job from my interview yesterday, fingers crossed

    Morning All,

    Jackie G Have a fabulous day tomorrow:beer:
    Molly (((hugs)))

I met my DH 31 yrs ago and he kissed me goodnight. Wow I felt it all the way down to my toes and we haven't stopped kissing since. I am with you Candygirl I love a good kisser:o:D:D:kisses3:

Esmf I always used to lift my lot out of bed just before I went to bed for a wee, they usually didn't wake up and it helped with the bed wetting

    Welcome to all the newbies:wave:

Thanks for the advice re potty training, thing we are going to relax about it, I am sure he will do it eventually:)

Very wet here today and I have no car so a day at home baking.

DS3 has informed me that there is nothing to eat in this house:mad: what he means is there is no rubbish, sweets and crisps etc. So today I will make a lemon drizzle cake, twinks hobnobs and his favourite chocolate brownies. Tea tonight is roast chicken which I may partly turn into a curry and maybe a chicken and veg soup with the rest.

I am loving Lisa Kleypas books at the moment, very romantic and the men are usually tall dark and handsome which I love, and to top it off there is lots of kissing:D

    Thankyou - really x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Molly - give it a kick from me - hope you feel sunnier soon xxx

Yes I do lift them and try to limit the drinks after 4pm, but they're sneaky beggers!!! Think its linked to ASD in the oldest one, the youngest one is dry most of the time. Oh well, they're only 7 and 5 - just hope the washing machine can cope. off to tidy the house xx
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

I am sitting here laughing at the kissing posts. We are a kissing pair as well as hand holding.
JackieG - very excited about the wedding. I'm so looking forward to hearing about it and will have a candle lit and dedicated to their happiness tomorrow morning.
Gillybean - fingers crossed for your job!
Reverbe - fingers crossed for the right person to come along for you!
Molly - black dog be gone. Wishing you uplifting thoughts.
Csarina - hope you read the daily today. I was worried about you putting on your tumble dryer overnight and then today my sister sent an email saying that the tumble dryer went on fire in the house they rent out. Luckily the folk were in and put it out with the fire extinguisher.
Rain has cleared here and the sun is trying to break through. I hope it turns out a nice day for the start of the festival (Edinburgh). I know someone on the daily is coming up on Saturday so hope the weather stays nice for your week.
Off out to buy more fruit and veg. Have 2 bags to take to the charity shop (had 2 and an overspill yesterday) - all because i have started reading the first simplicity thread from 2008 when I had a big clear out of stuff! 2 more bags went out to the bin today. Housework stuff to fit in today as well as other stuff so I'd better get on.
(((hugs))) to those with worries or who are in pain, physical or mental. Thinking of you.
