    JackieG - Enjoy tomorrow!

I really enjoyed thr outdoor Shakespeare last night :) It was a good atmosphere and setting - it was in the grounds of a castle! Play was Twelfth Night and they acted it well, with some very funny bits. It was very OS as we took a big picnic to eat :). Luckily the weather held, only a mere tiny sprinkling of rain on the way back to the car.

Unlike today where it is raining properly :( which has really bu88ered up my plans for the day with the work kids. We were going to finish off painting at the school but will have to postpone that again. So it'll be an indoor day for them unless weather clears this afternoon.

Really need to do some packing tonight, realised I move in 2 days time  :rotfl:. But I do have a whole week after Sat before I officially need to be out of here so it's not a huge rush, but want everything packed by Fri bedtime.

    Have a good day all

Thought I had better get on early, while I still have the home BB connection, will be mobile again later until late Monday:o:o

R-R - sorry to hear about your Dad, it happened to mine while he was suffering with dementia and 85 and they put a new hip in! He was physically fit, but due to the dementia could not cope with any physio, so ended up virtually bed/chair bound afterwards. Hoping they can fix your Dad's.

Molly - ((hugs)) to you, you can borrow my size 8's to kick him out if you like :D

    Lou ((hugs)) for your Gran.

Jackie-G - All the best for tomorrow, it will be fine, and as you say, you have some great friends around, hoping the weather holds for them and you can get loads of photos and will put them on here FB. I am sure all your hard work is appreciated.

Good luck with the moving in Flutterby

I know there are several newbies on here - Welcome all :hello: Lovely to have to new friends along, I have a friends request on FB for Vik Mac - anyone let me know who she is?

WB too to the all the old faces who have popped in lately, hope you say back. Anyone heard from the two Sunny's?

I had to admit any soppy house here, we will have been married 38 years in Nov., and still walk around holding hands, and kiss morning, night, and whenever the mood takes in between as well. We used to work at the same place and walk in holding hands, and yes kiss as we parted to go our separate ways, once there it was professional though. They soon got used to it and we used to ignore the ahh's! Yes it used to embarrass DS, but he is the same with his GF of 5 years now, so obviously runs in the family. I think my dancing and singing to music in the supermarket as we walked around embarrassed him more :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Last bits to put in the 'van when the rain eases (hopefully), love wet day for getting the 'van out, travelling and setting up - why have I just washed and blow-dried my hair :D I have used BBQ food from the freeze/fridge, just need a bit of fresh stuff which we will pick up locally as needed.

Take care all - (((hugs))), Spoons. Hi-5's, Positive vibes to you all. DG

Morning all and welcome to the newbies,

Packed DH's lunch of roast pork & mustard sarnies, yogurt and a banana. He's removed nearly 1 tonne of tiles from DD1's bathroom, they were floor to ceiling and 2 layers thick. I expect he walls and ceiling will need skimming, DH wants me to go up on Sat and suss it out as I'm the decorator in our household, used to be a proffesional before I took early retirement.

I'm having DGD2 again today after her swimming lesson as DD2 is feeling poorly, constant rain here today so no playing outside, so I'll do some baking with DGD, fairy cakes me thinks. I'll also cook DD2 & SiL 2b a sausage casserole, mustard mash & broccoli for their dinner. DH and I don't like puds but will make them a choc sponge and custard.

BM has just pinged, wm finished, knew I should have done the wash y/day, now it's gonna be draped in the conservatory.

Jacki, I'm getting excited for you, just remember..... amongst all the chaos,,,, ENJOY yourself.
((((Hugs))))) Molly and all who need one.

    morning!

late up this morning as had a late night out last night, I was the only sober one - so I drove the pair of them home:D my friend left her phone, purse and credit card on the floor of my car so I've got to take them back later. Was a bit embarrassed dropping her off as she's a rather'posh' lady in her late 60s and she was well plastered:D but we had such a good time:j

    Raining here!
Off to take my sister to hospital later - she's having an operation on her foot this afternoon, bunion removal and 2 toes broken and re-set so she'll be in plaster for 6 weeks.

Got car problems:( need a new radiator, hope its not expensive. Is going to be difficult managing with 1 car this weekend till we can get it done.

Have taken a HM quorn cottage pie out of the freezer for tea and a bit of plumb crumble.

    (((hugs))) to Molly x x

    welcome to Sonia :)

JackieG - enjoy the wedding preparations and I hope you all have a wonderful time tomorrow! x x x

RR - (((hugs))) to your Dad, hope he's soon on the mend x x

busy day here. Taking my sister to the hospital, DS to work, visit Mum's friend in the nursing home, collect DS from work. Plus the usual housework. Good job its my day off!

have a great day all x

edited to say - we like kissing in this house too :o;)

:eek:Ohhh Noooo, I left the car windows down yesterday thinking I would go out in it again and now the seats are soaking wet. DH pressed his hand on the seats and water squeezed out:eek:. He's not happy with me at all.:(

I'll have to sit on a bin liner when I collect DGD :o
Don't know how on earth I'm going to get them dry.
