A whole house burnt down??? you like to over react

A bit more than slight scorching don't you think, and 10 in London alone.0 -
And a BMW is better then a hyundai whats your point? Howdens never sold any of the recalled models. Any factory made unit is going to be better then a unit flat packed made on site, I know what I am doing and you should see the state of my Ikea wardrobes. Flat packed and rubbishCooker_expert wrote: »:rotfl: Beko have a good rating !!!
So you haven't heard about the massive recall for their fridge/freezers bursting into flames ? Or the gas grills that have actually had fatalities ?
Beko are Strictly budget appliances and in cooking especially are very poor, and can't hold a candle to the likes of range master on either quality or cooking performance.
Btw, I'm still waiting to hear what is actually "much better" about Howdens ?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
What a pathetic argument, when I used to work for a electrical retailer 20% of the laptops we repaired were Hp. but 30% of the sales of laptops were HP....let me know if your having problems with the maths thereCooker_expert wrote: »at least a quarter of my repairs every week are beko products, again I see a different side of things to you, the components used inside are cheap and poor and this is why they break so much, please go try posting on the uk whitegoods forums and try telling them that beko have good ratings but be prepared for humiliation, myself I shouldn't really call beko that much as i make a good living from them, I haven't though known any other make have so many deadly products out there, it's scary.
On the Howdens front, it's not too different to B+Q but they'll deliver a new one next day usually without you having to haul yourself down there.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The Beko recall affects a very small proportion, and they are not going to burst into flames...a bit dramitic, it is a overheating of the thermostat which could result in slight scorching.
A bit dramatic?

I think this is "a slight scorching" in the sense of "it's only a flesh wound" in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

If you dont fit kitchens then how do you know how long it takes to build a unit on average including everything?Cooker_expert wrote: »No, if you could read properly you would note that I put more than one house burnt down.
I haven't said anywhere that I fit kitchens myself, your eyesight must be terrible, I haven't said either that I repair fridges though I do have C&G parts 1 and 2 in refrigeration and air conditioning, my former employers and collegues have the contract for the beko modifications.
If you dont fit kitchens then how do you know how long it takes to build a unit on average including everything?
You also said a quarter of your time involves repairs to beko products so dont comment on my eyesight.
And what's the rush for needing the unit that day ? There's plenty of other things to be done so it's hardly a worry.
When you need to fit a unit in order to fit the rest of the cabinets I think you do need the part as soon as possible, if you have to wait the next day (most likely to be the afternoon) it is not acceptable to me or the customer to have to wait.
Your source of ratings is also as useless as they come, a review of a product you have bought is fine at the time, it's a couple of years down the line when you need to worry, this is when I start to make serious money from them, beko's are by far the most common appliance I repair, but hey if people want to take your advice who obviously knows nothing, it won't bother me as the money will keep on coming in to my business

Cooker_expert wrote: »Funny as I can't remember you being correct once, incorrect on the time to build a unit, incorrect on the beko ff fault, and most certainly incorrect when trying to say beko are a decent make........ Not a clue.
Lets ask some fitters about the average time to build a unit, time to set up etc and not someone who visits 40 kitchens a week.
A article said it was the thermostat, beko say sticking timer.
Thousands of people must be wrong then.0 -

Thanks for the article but I dont see any pictures of a burnt down house, I just see a half burnt kitchen. These are a couple of fridges which have had the problem, the majority have caused scorching as confirmed by Beko.0 -

But did this happen to all 500,000 of them, no, just a few have scorched and a very small proportion have caused more damage. Cooker expert makes out they burst into flames which is not true.0 -

I don't need to ask fitters I see them done every week while I'm doing the gas work, though it's usually the apprentice doing it in that time.
The article was wrong, it's the fan timers.0 -

Are you a bit simple or something ? Do you think beko are paying out tens of millions of pounds because the fridges "haven't" been bursting into flames ?
I know exactly what has happened with these as I've had prove Ive had information on the fault, unlike yourself who has no knowledge of the matter.0
