sorry people. i feel that i'm partly responsible for this part of the thread for rising to the troll's bait. if we all ignore the troll, they'll probably go away after a while and we can all get on with discussing the matter in hand - helping rickshaw.

I think most people would now say that it is Rickshaw who is the troll...

  • I said it once and I'll say it again ............ be nice or the kitty pictures will follow LOL

I hope that other MSE members will not be put off by this thread, by this I mean if I received the same letter I would be less inclined to post about it on here after reading some of the comments.

  • yes I'd love to see your pic - our tabby cat of 18 years died and we planned on getting one kitten, Diesel was pre-booked and then we decided to get another one for company but when Bob and Misty were dumped they came together so we ended up with 3 - last picture is of Diesel as a kitten. He was born on a stairwell of a flats to a feral mum. He was captured by the cats home and hand reared, he is so loving and affectionate. This was him as a tiny kitten, it was touch and go whether he would survive as he was in isolation for awhile but luckily he pulled through.

Seems slightly unprofessional for it to be in a hand written envelope. It all seems a bit fishy to me.

How so? I work for one of the country's largest employers and we send out hand written envelopes every day. (printers too busy to tie up with envelopes)
  • @ babymoneyblagger - what a cutie Dora is - I love tabbies

Windowed envelopes are often used by companies to overcome your exact problem; much to my annoyance as it means not the whole of the envelope can get recycled and I have to go thru' all my junk mail to rip them out!!!!

    Thanks for your comment.

I work for the 2nd largest insurance company in the UK and on a daily basis hand write envelopes because the printers are too busy churning out letters.

We also know that the named person on the letter exists because someone phoned the store. Maybe this one will always remain a unsolved mystery
