I am banned from a store for using coupons.

I was banned about 18 months ago and still am.

(have a look here - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=78328&pp=10 )

I've written to the store a few times and they just write back saying that I am not welcome.

Have you tried other stores igloo? i felt i was being watched in my local store, but was just really nice to cashier and carried on with my wad of coupons! Mwahahahahah!

yes-I do go to other stores but I now only use money off coupons if I've bought the item. I still feel really cheesed off that the checkout lady that I went to that day said that if they scanned , they scanned!

Oh well aren't Tesco PATHETIC! That is gross DEFAMATION of CHARACTER! You should definately go on the attack by letter, say you would like a reply within 7 days (as this indicates a legal issue) and state that you didn't FORCE cashier to accept vouchers you merely asked if he would. YOU DID NOTHING WRONG!!!!!

As if they are really going to waste time on this case!!!!! You should ask whether they intend to return the coupons to the value of £137 to you (i'm sure they cannot do this) being as they are asking for cash. Are they intending to keep coupons as well as your money (doubling their money???)

AVOID Tesco their customer service is apalling, they dont give a toss about customers just profit, and take your business to waitrose/sainsburys who offer superior food and better customer care. TESCOS SUCK!

i've always done that!

But, the day I was banned, the cashier was happily scanning my coupons when a security guard and customer service manager stopped the cashier and said asked the cashier "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"!

Then, banned!

You are kidding! How embarassing! Thats shocking! I just rotate between stores in the area, and wear disguises (false noses/moustaches etc) so i am not recognised!!!!

I think, in this case, they've gotten her address via her clubcard. Clubcard (as was pointed out to me but the security guard the day I was banned) is the property of Tesco.

I wouldnt be a bit surprised if they've sent this letter out to purely get the OP in to either warn her face to face not to do so again OR ban her like they have done in my case.

They've used plain paper so that if the s*** hits the fan they will deny its come from them!
