Oh and just when I was enjoying this thread it has gone like all the others which start out fun with us all playing detectives and then turn mean. I have typed out a letter to Tesco Customer Service to ask them about coupon use. It will be handy to get the official line on headed paper, maybe I should use a different name and address though in case they link it too my clubcard and bar all coupons. Whatever my opinion maybe to OP, I would never go in for critising someone just for getting on with their life in their own way.
