Kirsty - nope. not a single one was answered. I'll re post later as on my mobile :-)
gregg1 - please read the WHOLE thread before jumping in half way. even our resident florist has said they are the same TYPES if flowers.the substitute is item count and colour. if you neglect the t and c when it contains info then you can't complain when they point to them for confirmation. the op has been offered replacement flowers. the issue is getting them delivered. sheesh!0 -

I did read the whole thread although I felt able to bypass most of your posts as they all say pretty much the same thing! Now read what I said - I commented on the fact that you did not think the issue was a problem and just because someone did not like blue flowers they were effectively being too picky. I disagreed with you which seems to have hit a nerve. Take a good look at the picture - no way do the replacement flowers even look in the same price bracket as the original order, let alone similar flowers!0 -
Lol the original issue from the op was they was blue. We never got the picture until very much later. No one has disputed the fact the flowers were not worth the money so clearly you haven't read the thread properly :-) nope no nerves hit here I'm afraid. Better luck next time ;-) define similar? A rose is still a rose regardless its colour..... Piglet has already listed the flowers both on the website and the ones the op got. They ARE the SAME types of flowers (except the iris) but the stem count and colours are incorrect (clearly I need to keep repeating as people, like yourself, are either not reading the thread or are jumping up and down trying to have the same conversation that we all had 4 pages ago lol)0

Johnny, are you just here to champion small print? Do you spend your days gazing at t and c in a trance like fashion? Do you ever go out? And more to the point, have you ever in your whole entire life made a purchase that fell short of your expectations in any way? or are you too busy preaching at people who have been let down to buy anything for yourself?
Champion small print, no. Point out that people should read it at all times, yes. The rest of your questions just drivel.0 -
There is absolutely no need for ignorant comments such as that!
Actually there is because time and time again, the same thing happens where people blindly make an online purchase then complain aterwards as something was in the T&C's that they had not read.
This forum is full of the same queries so yes, the majority of online shoppers have thick skulls and half a brain. The evidence is there quite clearly.0 -

The bouquet received was in no way vibrant and to me it is that simple.
Me too.
It's fair enough having to substitute particular flowers but the general look of the bouquet should remain the same. Huge difference between vibrant and insipid. I'd have been very annoyed.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Exactly what difference would reading the T&Cs have made in this case? None whatsoever. In fact, if the OP had read the T&Cs she may have just rolled over with a 'you win' attitude, and not have come here for advice that tells her, in the T&Cs or not, substitution on that scale is not on.There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

Mate, you will not get anywhere with this shower. There are certain individuals who will insist that black is white and are so single minded that anything you say is irrelevant to them as they have their own take on things and that is it. We know the score so I'll sign out on a high0 -

She certainly may have rolled over as she would have realised the T&C's mention the substitute.0 -
Letter sent by recorded post to their head office in Cambridgeshire. I'll keep you informed of any progress. Thank you to all those who have helped me with this.
OMG, WHY?
Note to the "advisors" on here, you have now wasted this ladies time by talking her into writing a letter to complain because her flowers were a different colour.
This kind of "fight for your rights" cobblers is so last week and is for people with far too much time on their hands. The flowers received were different to advertised as mentioned in the T&C's, that is all. Draw a line under it and move on.
It is not your fault OP, it is the "clever" advice people are giving.0
