Apparently you are supposed to list your qualifications with the highest first, ie, BA/BSc, Dip and then Certs. As all the Certs are the same level of qualification you list them in date of order (most recent first).

Therefore I should be Jo4 this certificate, which I should get shortly, and last certificate.

Should have said if you had a doctorate it comes before the masters, and both of them come before the degree. Although I am sure everyone knew that any way, not that I am ever going to have to worry about a masters never mind a doctorate!!

  • Does this mean when I complete my 30 point OU course next year, I'll not get a certificate for it, because it can count towards a Diploma or Degree?

    I'm confused!

Milford_Cubicle, have you done any other OU courses that can count towards a certificate? If not then you will have to complete another 30point course before being awarded a Certificate.

Like B120 An Intro to Business Studies - this is a compulsory course for the Cert in Business Studies - but to complete this you need to complete an additional course of 30 points (or the X amount to make up the points requirement).

It is very confusing. You need 60 points for a certificate and if you look online it will tell you what courses you need for what certificates, diplomas and named degrees. I really haven't got the hang of it myself it but I am sure someone else will be a long shortly to explain.
