  • Yes sadly the clues are for the answers already found but at least they have given us another week to stress out over it :T

But what if we have already entered our best answer? Can we enter again?
    :p
  • Am I right in thinking that anyone who had submitted an answer was not right....or are they just saying they need to have 5 right answers eg. they may have 1 right, but need to have 5 correct to allocate the prizes?

What about the approach hampton101 suggested for the last puzzle? Can't believe they didn't give us an extra clue for that! Although that might mean it's supposed to be straight forward, as in numbers representing puzzle, solution, letter, but then we're still stuck with the same anagrams.

It says if you've entered, try again with a new answer. Also, they said some came close but they don't have five winners. Don't know if that means no one got it right.

yes you can enter as many times as you want.
  • I emailed the marketing team yesterday asking if they would be publishing a list of winners and the correct solution and the reply I was sent confirmed that they had not had any correct answers submitted so I definitely would NOT recommend resubmitting you previous answers.

I get different letters (reposting #50 for ease of ref)

    1.1 SAGITTARIUS (1.1.1) S
    1.2 TAURUS CANCER (1.2.3) U
    1.3 SCORPIO GEMINI (1.3.2 ) C or possibly A if 3rd word (Cancer) not 3rd answer (ScorpioGemini)
1.4 LEO ARIES LIBRA (1.4.2) E or possibly C if 4th word, not 4th answer
    1.5 CAPRICORN PISCES
    2.1 EX-ARMY ENGINEER
    2.2 LA CAMMORRISTA
    2.3 RETIRED PILOT
    2.4 FORMER WRESTLER
    2.5 PHRYGIAN KING (2.5.5) G
    3.1 SEATTLE
    3.2 GEORGETOWN (3.2.5) G
    3.3 PIAZZA SAN GAETANO
    3.4 SAN LORENZO MAGGIORE (3.4.1) S
    3.5 WASHINGTON
    4.1 PALACE (4.1.4) A
    4.2 ARCH (4.2.4) H
    4.3 CHAPEL
4.4 MUSEUM (4.4.5) U – I would much rather this was the E in CHAPEL but that needs another find!
    4.5 TOMB
    4.6 PARTHENON
    4.7 TOWER
    4.8 FORT
    4.9 VAULT
    4.10 HOTEL
    5.1 BCYARROONL Byron Carol
    5.2 EILMGMIENL Elgin Immel
5.3 GMRIALNETS Grant Miles (5.3.3) R or possibly G if 3rd word not answer
    5.4 KLAOMCAKLE Kamal Locke
5.5 STTYALCEYR Stacy Tyler (5.5.5) A or possibly T if 5th word not answer

So, using ANSWERS, rather than WORDS gives SUCEGGSAHURA

Using the words (i.e. Cancer is answer 3, not ScorpioGemini) gives SUACGGSAHUGT

Using set one of the letters above, "Sage Cash Guru" is my best bet at a very bad bunch.

Using the second set, GAGS CAUGHT US is probably more a description of us and our failings than the authors intended answer!

I did offer up a series of alternative letter sets in post #58, though confess, I found little of substance to be able to submit with any sense of confidence.
