I emptied my savings bottle and had managed to save a reasonable £26. I have put another £24 to it from being frugal with shopping, etc. So, I've paid off my first £50 :j

All I need to do now is sell my car and I can pay a big chunk off my debt. It just seems as though people only want to pay stupid money!!! :(

BIG, BIG CONGRATS FOR EVERYONE WHO PAID OFF!!! You are all great. I'll update tomorrow. We also need to think about a starting date for a challenge part 7 :) Suggestions, anyone? Will be a hard time, because it will cover Chrismas/New Year time.

We could start a little later, so that christmas doesn't seem to get in the way too much. We'll also have a bit more time after christmas then to catch up. If we started on the 10th December 2011 we would finish on the 19th March 2012 (the day before the first day of spring). So, what a way to start of spring, with another debt cleared:exclamati

    Thoughts anyone:question:

  • I think i would rather see it begin in the VERY early part of the New Year.

Over Christmas not so many people have the time for the ebaying and surveys, also with visitors and what not we will be buying extra food so not being able to shave a little here and there from the shopping bill.
After the NY most people are getting back to normal with the children back at school and if they are anything like me the fridge is still groaning with food that will last for the next couple of weeks.
That said I am looking forward to the next one when ever it is.

I think mid December would be a good time to start. Part of MS training has taught me to get my Christmas presents in the sales so as of today, I have just two or three gifts left to sort out.

I feel it's important to keep the momentum going and being part of a challenge such as this one keeps our focus on the long term rather than getting caught up in the attitude of it's Christmas so I should spend, spend, spend!

Happy to go with the majority :D

£8 for me today bringing my total to £131/£991
    CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999
    NSDs March 1/20
