£24.60 in the form of a few hours overtime this week.

    and

another £67.65 as I have taken on overtime in the form of 12 hour shift on saturday. It's going to be a long one!

So now I'm up to £376.25/£480.00
    Nearly there!

EDIT: Forgot to add a further £12.80 from amazon. Taking me to £389.05/£480.00

I'd like to just say I've enjoyed selling on amazon. It's a sit back and relax type of thing so I'm going to look through all of my old sewing books and see if any of them are worth putting on amazon...

Further EDIT: Just found a book on my shelf that I paid £19 for is being sold on amazon for more than £50! I'll be sad to part with such a wonderful book, but needs must!

  • Morning all,

I've been following the thread but haven't had any updates of mine own for over a month. So many unexpected expenses over the last few weeks. Things seem to be settling down now. With just 18 days of the challenge left, I am still hopeful that the extra money I need will manifest itself.

I've added £32 to my pot today bringing my total to £119/£991. I can live with that :D

Keep going everyone, you're doing so well and nearly at the end now :j

More overtime flinging itself at me this coming week. Hurrah. Lots of double shifts mean lots of extra cash.

So add another £43.05 (extra cash from mondays double shift) to my total, bringing me to £432.10/£480

So close! I can't actually believe I've almost done it! i've really shocked myself because it just goes to show what you can do when you put your mind to it, and I'd have never have bothered if it werent for this thread! Thanks Amara!

I'd also like to point out that I joined on roughly day 60 of the challenge and decided to only attempt 40% of the total debt! so I think it goes to show that if I can manage 40% of the debt in 40% of the time then I could crack the full debt in the next challenge. Maybe!? So chuffed!
