Well done to everyone who has reached their target, and those still working on getting there. You are all Fab and an inspiration to everyone reading this thread. Even those of us who won't reach their target have achieved far more than we would have done without it.

Sorry been AWOL for a bit but I have just had nothing of late to add to this challange. I have been hit with so many unexpected expenses this challange. The saddest of these was my 11 year old dog Millie, who got sick very suddenly. After a few days it was unfair to let her suffer any more and we had littlr choice but to put her to sleep. It was very expensive as she wasn't insured, but I would have given everything we had if we could have made her better.

I was hoping to save £2000 to pay for my flights to visit my Dad in Melbourne in March. I was hoping the next challange would cover my spending money. I do believe I will finally get to target begining of December and I can pay for my flights without getting into any debt to fund this. This will however take a chunk out of my spends. All the more reason to pull out all the stops to raise the cash, with the help of all you wonderfully motivating people on here.

£1462.20/£2000. All change since I posted last night. I have been checking my flight prices for Melbourne every couple of days. This morning they had gone down by roughly £400 so I jumped at the chance and booked them. I got the flights for £1462.20 for the 2 of us, I was expecting to pay around £1900.:j:j:j

A family member borrowed me the £300 I was short and I will pay her back when I get paid in 2 weeks.

For this challange I aimed to collect £2000 to pay for my flights so I would incur no further debt. As my flights are now booked and paid for, even though I didn't quite meet my target, I consider I have accomplished my aim if thats okay?:)

I am now free to start a new challange on 1st December, if Amara is good enough to do another, to save for my spends.
