No you weren't; you were being inflammatory and confrontational. He/she was doing his/her job.

  • Hi Jeff, a similar incident happened to myself and family in Chester.
My husband took our disabled son to look around the roman ruins of this lovely city. My son was desperate to use a toilet so he parked on a large car park also in a disabled space. During this time my son had a bit of an accident and was taken to the Toilet. The blue badge was alo not placed in the window and after ten mins cleaning up a Warden was quick to spot no badge displayed. The warden was an ignorant so and so who said he had started and he will finish.
I persued this and got the ticket rescinded. Keep at them.
PS, Ignore the political correct users who aint anything else better but to do but sit with either a laptop or PC all night. Losers.

Just for your information suggesting that the OP would have been better being polite is not being politically incorrect - it's called being sensible.

The OP was clearly in the wrong here and eating a little humble pie would have gone a long way to resolving the matter in his favour.

  • They should have seen the wheel on display and if looked closer the Warden would have seen the blue badge.

People have been known to 'acquire' a BB clock and display that, with no entitlement to an actual badge, so why should the Warden have to peer round the car for a badge? Yes, it's unfortunate that your badge fell and you were fined, but it's not the Warden's fault.

Get yourself one of these wont blow or knock off the dash then. Keeps both badge and clock together, and adds weight! I have never had mine move from where I left it.

Perhaps its these 'slime balls' who keep the bays clear in the first place for blue badge holders?

Maybe go armed with some blu-tack next time.

    Sticky velcro dots every time.

Put two of the same sort (either the fabric, or the hooks) on the dash a a reasonable distance apart, put the other type on the back of the badge and clock.
Also handy if you've got any sort of parking permit.

Works wonders, I started doing it after losing 2 badges in about 6 weeks during windy weather (about all i can think is that whilst both front doors where open the wind blew them out and we didn't notice).
