Parking fine in disabled bay

I am a Blue badge holder which is always displayed in the windscreen.
A couple of weeks ago I was so desperate to use a toilet, just one of my disabilities. I stopped at a shopping precict which I`m quite familiar with. I parked my car and placed a return time on my time wheel. During getting out of my vehicle my stick must have caught the blue badge which on my return was on the floor under the steering wheel. I was only 6-7 mins away and when I returned the slime ball of a warden had placed a parking violation on my windscreen. He/she obviously never looked and had one thing in mind. They should have seen the wheel on display and if looked closer the Warden would have seen the blue badge.
I have complained and asked for the £35 fine to be rescinded. I received my letter today telling me they will not rescing the fine.
I have wrote a letter of disgust mentioning this little Hitler should be reprimanded himself. Disgusted.

Unfortunately the onus is on you to ensure the ticket is clearly displayed.
Maybe go armed with some blu-tack next time.
No doubt the warden took a photo of your vehicle showing the badge was NOT clealry displayed. And that's why they won't rescind their ticket.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Were you pleasant? Similar thing happened to me and I wrote them a letter explaining what I had done and how I realised it was my fault etc. etc. but would they be kind enough to overlook it this time. I also sent a photocopy of my 'in-date' blue badge and gave the numbers off it.
I had a lovely letter back excusing me this time.
Sometimes I think it depends on how you handle it.0 -
Can the op please clarify if it is a council ticket or a private parking ticket ?You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

Having said that ^ when I got a (council) ticket which WAS mis-issued i did suggest the council,, and Park Smarter, train their staff properly!
It IS the responsibility of the driver of ANY vehicle to display their parking ticket/blue badge properly. Time and time again we read of people who've had tickets 'blow off' the dash when the door shut. Blob of blu-tack in the glovebox and job done!
But yes, I should have asked the OP WHO issued the ticket. Apologies!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

thing is if it was on the floor then the tw isnt a mind reader he looks in the window if its not there then hes not gonna go looking round the car for a ticketReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0

Would you be happy if you saw a car using a disabled bay and not displaying a blue badge, & then learned later they had wriggled out not
paying the parking ticket by complaining ??ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.0 -
With an attitude like the OP's I say you deserve more than a ticket0

So he is a little hitler for not looking on the floor of the inside of your vehicle? Nice attitude you have there.
