Just bought one from the Superdrug near Paddington/Edgeware Rd. It's the Bush DVR3004. They've got one left, but you'll have to ask someone to get it from the stockroom.
Just opened it up and it only records DVD+R / DVD+RW according to the manual. It does come with 1 DVD+RW disk0 -
Superdrug, Clayton Square Liverpool had loads of these at back of shop just in front of perfume counter.
Priced up at £69.99 but when I asked assistant to check price came up at £39.99. That is a present to put away for my husbands 40th in march - thanks OP.Money SPENDING Expert0 -

i got one today. the last one in the shop. I actually did not go to buy one but when i saw it at that price and i remembered comments on MSE.. so i got it.. despite promises not to use my CC again!!! Hope it's a good buy..i don't know much about dvd recorder i'm afraid...
If you find how to make it region free please post as i have quite a few dvd other than region 2 and also could sbdy tell where to buy the cheapest DVD to record on these...and what format is best (I did say i'm not very technical!!!)

i picked one up today at superdrug old trafford manchester.they were by the till and there were plenty left as they were marked at full price.now i just have to work out how to use it.0
