has anyone else tried playing anything they on their DVD recorder that they have recorded off their PC? Did it work? I may take mine back tomorrow if it didnt.

It should play discs recorded on your PC as long as you have recorded them in a supported format eg normal DVD format (vob files etc).

Just set your burning software to record in DVD-Video.

Just tested it.. no DivX, no Xvid, VCDs play fine, mp3s are fine.

There you go, it does what it says it does and nothing else

stupid question, but is possible to convert a file from DivX or Xvid into a supported format eg normal DVD format (vob files etc)?
