Sauchiehall street had four in yesterday. They were still marked at £79.99 but will probably scan at the reduced price at the till. They also had one of the TV/DVD combis. I would have bought one of each but I was up there on the train and couldn't carry them.

There were two left in Marble Arch Superdrug scanning at £39.99.
Also is there any way to set up a "videoplus" function as setting up lots of programmes manually is quite tedious? (yes, I know I'm lazy :-) )

Aldi sell DVD+RW discs, I think they work out about £1 each in packs of 5, been a while since I bought some so i'm not 100% sure on the price but they work fine, I think Lidl do some at a similar price but i've never used them

DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW - excuse my ignorance, but can anyone explain what is the difference in these and how/why it matters when considering buying a dvd recorder?
