The're supposed to last to 1000 recordings but the most I've had to use them up is about 200 so I can't say wether they will last that long.
All I can recomend is to get good ones in the beginning, I always use Verbatim for DVD RW and Taiyo Yuden for DVD R. For DVD RW especially getting cheap ones is a false economy.Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0

            evening all,
Thinking of taking mine back, having trouble setting it up, also not too happy that its not multi region unlike the 3003 model. However, if i do manage to get it setup, has anyone tried watching films downloaded from the internet? as it states in the user guide that you cant.0

Not tried yet, i'll throw in some DivX and Xvids tonight and report back...
However, i've got my multi-region DivX/XVid DVD player plugged into this so i can do downloaded film -> DVD 0 0
