The're supposed to last to 1000 recordings but the most I've had to use them up is about 200 so I can't say wether they will last that long.
All I can recomend is to get good ones in the beginning, I always use Verbatim for DVD RW and Taiyo Yuden for DVD R. For DVD RW especially getting cheap ones is a false economy.Don't take life too seriously, no one gets out alive0 -

evening all,
Thinking of taking mine back, having trouble setting it up, also not too happy that its not multi region unlike the 3003 model. However, if i do manage to get it setup, has anyone tried watching films downloaded from the internet? as it states in the user guide that you cant.0 -
Not tried yet, i'll throw in some DivX and Xvids tonight and report back...
However, i've got my multi-region DivX/XVid DVD player plugged into this so i can do downloaded film -> DVD
