Ryanair - which airports do they allow duty free bag PLUS hand luggage

There have been a number of threads recently about Ryanair allowing a bag of duty free goods (airside shopping) in addition to the normal 1 piece of hand luggage. So far only the Bristol Airport website confirms this.
If you have recently travelled through an airport that allows this please post date and departure airport so we can collect a list of airports all in one thread as the Ryanair website is quite on the matter.
Please just post answers to this question and dont let the thread get sidetracked onto related issues.

Personally would not chance it, just make sure it goes in the handbaggage or it could cost you a lot more.0 -
As your contract is with the carrier (i.e. Ryanair) and their T&C's stipulate one bag then I'd be dubious about accepting a 3rd partys word about what Ryanair will/won't do. Their T&C's are very clear and I can't see any good reason why they would accept further shop purchases rather than being able to sell on-board.
CABIN BAGGAGE
Strictly one item of cabin baggage per passenger (excluding infants) weighing up to 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm is permitted. (handbag, briefcase, laptop, shop purchases, camera etc.) must be carried in your 1 permitted piece of cabin baggage.
Extra/oversized cabin baggage will be refused at the boarding gate, or where available, placed in the hold of the aircraft for a fee of £40/€40. If you are unsure, check at the Bag Drop desk before going through security.0 -
The only one I know of for sure is East Midlands. Went through with 8p WH Smith carrier bag on July 4th this year. Notices in shops (also Boots Chemists) saying that it was allowed in addition to cabin luggage and we went through without a problem (travelling with Ryanair).
Can't be sure this offer is still valid though, so please check beforehand.Normal people worry me.0 -
So out of interest what happens when you get to the gate and Ryanairs handling agents refuse to accept your carrier bag - do you risk returning to the retailer to argue the toss and risk missing your flight or do you forego your newly purchased goods ?0

You'd be bonkers to have a go, Boots, WHS etc have no agreement with ryanair, they just sell stuff.
People at the gate are incentivised to uphold the ryanair terms and conditions.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Obviously, we made sure that anything we put into the carrier bag could be repacked into our cabin bag if it was refused (book, my handbag, newspaper etc). It was our intention to pack these anyway before we saw the "carrier" offer.
Be aware that you can't do the same on the return flight anyway.
If folk don't want to risk it, that's fine, I can only say that we saw it as a bonus and it worked for us.Normal people worry me.0 -
This can definitely be done at Bristol and there are big signs outside of the shops to inform people. I checked with three separate Ryanair employees who all informed me that they do have an agreement with the shops that this can be done.
We both took carrier bags through which were pretty full of toiletries and food, yet they made a lady standing next to us put her very small handbag into her hand luggage !0 -
Hi,
You definitely can at East Midlands. They announced it over intercom system. No problem for us and the rest of the passengers.
As others have said just make sure that the stuff you buy will fit in hand luggage just in case but I'm sure it is fine at East Midlands.0 -

It is still valid - travelled last week. You can take one bag from any store.
My hand luggage was probably too big (bulging rather than the size of the actual luggage) but as the time is it checked is at the gate, I had transferrred some of the content into my 8p WH Smith carrier.0 -
You could at Bournemouth in October, made the mistake on the way back though from Malta of buying duty frees only to be told they had to be in our hand luggage. Which made absolutely no sense as its the same plane!!!0
