Sounds like we are all being productive - well I have done my cushion cover - the Union Flag shabby chic one so there's nothing for it but to knuckle down and do some much delayed housework ( we have been on holiday mode last week and nothing has been done)
Oh!!! and find my Big Boy cat - who is normally sitting on kitchen window asking fro breakfast when we get up but hasn't been seen today. Bit of a worry.

I have been busy listing and relisting stuff on ebay today - at last some of the wedding stuff will get shifted and I relisted some of the stuff that didnt sell at the beginning of the month.
Pot now has a lamb shank wedged in it with herbes de provence (thank you Leedle), onion, beef stock, worcester sauce, pepper, tomato puree - now it is too wet (sigh) and I forgot to sling in a glass of wine..oh well. For afters, I have the cheap whoopsie shelf apple & blackberry pie.
Am loving the frugal life.:D0 -
Afternoon all, was actually up quite early today! Really tired last night after my meal so was in bed by 11.15!!!! Had a fab night though and the boys were great fun as always.
Have spent today footering with the Kindle, watching X Factor on catch up and also listing a few bits on ebay too. Tomorrow sees the start of a busy week as I want to get bits done while I have time.'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -

Well, at least now I know exactly what is in the freezer, and it is all ready to eat after being defrosted and reheated. I found Filo pastry that had been in there since 2009:eek:.
I had kippers for breakfast and prawns and scallops for lunch.Took prawns to dads for his supper but has to waste some as can't refreeze and no one else likes them.
Still, managed to do something with everything else, including a chicken and leek pie filling I had never tried to make before.
And will be able to plan the restocking of the freezer when we get back from holiday.
Going to relax with Strictly and Spooks and a glass of something alcoholic.
Hope everyone else gets to relax after their very productive days.0 -
Have spent all afternoon drawing mind maps for a Junior martial art class - had a fab afternoon with paper and coloured pencils !!:j Who would have thought they would be soooo much fun??
Now had to drop them off at a friends who will turn them into master pieces for printing....a few giggles were had at my drawing of a tree. Well art never was my forte:o
Hopefully they will help the kids learn and have left them plenty of space for them to add their own details and reminders. Am thinking of laminating them so they can draw on them with china graph pencils.

Souk Happy Birthday. Hope you have had a fab day.
Busy weekend but lots achieved and all the items I wanted to ebay listed.
Main task for this week will be to get all the paint and tarnish off of the brass stays and handles etc I have acquired. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
