Phew, speed reading so sorry to miss people out but this is what stood out for me

Tenmah Wooohhhhhoooooooooooo. And if you have to get into debt again for a new house at least it is a good cause (nothing frivolous) and you know that you can budget to manage it.

Souk Double Woooooooohhhhhhhhoooooooooooooo. Not that it was in doubt but well done.

Claire - take care of yourself honey, dont want you ending up back in hospital.

HL - I second Souk, you are a very strong, caring individual.

Well ladies, I had the strangest interview last week down South. It was an all dayer and I had to do two presentations, work in a group and then a one to one interview that was more a chat until the interviewer said Oops better ask the set questions. Then they told me the wages and I managed not to laugh. So even if they offer it to me (as much as I would love it) I know that I am worth way more than that so it will be a no thank you if they do offer it. Hey ho at least now after being on this thread I have the confidence to say that I am worth somethings. Thanks ladies

  • Infact MrsMoo - you're probably worth even more than you can think you are...

I was looking at jobs this morning (between blubs!) (a little bit harder than my current one, but still well within my capabilities really) - and they are paying double what I earn here. There were contract roles - £250 a day. I can't believe anyone would pay ME (or someone with equal skills to me) that much... I'd be tempted, except I have a !!!!!! to deal with and I don't want to live near Gatwick...

Talking of Fuglies.... here goes nothing... I fear a sticky outcome xx

:T:T Good for you. It's a hard lesson to learn.

RE the job, see my above comment and your first sentence. You are so worth it. On the !!!!!! front, We're here to support you whatever your decision. Just remember your own words again - "you're probably worth even more than you can think you are... "
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Hehe thanks Tricia - funny how we speak to ourselves in our messages to others, but never notice it!

The job: if I wanted to go through the hassle of moving and living near lundun then I would have applied - but quite frankly I don't think I want to do either - esp. at the moment.

Thanks lovelies. Had a great day with Mummy and we have a plan A, B and C in place!

FW, wishing you a nice smooth flight tomorrow. Im not a great flier either. We've both done it loads eh but doesn't make the bumps any easier to bear!

TMIF...My feet are small, but could be used for kicking folk where it hurts if need be!!!!

Mrs Moo, of course you're worth it.

MG, I love it! Big boy pants indeed. I was greeted with my friends wee one showing me his the last time I went round. I said to him 'You're not the only man I ve seen in his pants this week, but you're definetely the cutest!'

Tricia, I've not looked for a while tbh as this looks like it will happen and is the right money etc but if I need to, I will. X

  • Oh Ladies - you are all worth so much more than you will ever know. You give me the strength to battle on and create a bigger better life for me and the boys - you are all priceless you know?

And Madame Souk - Sugah says that if you are working in that lovely place you may be the Lady to turn him - LOL. He is so shallow and transparent - but I love her

    Hello all,

Despite a stinking cold a very good day. It seems that I will get the transfer and I had very nice session today with my new manager, I think we get along really well. :j Nothing has been confirmed but I have everything crossed.

Anyway, I am going to have a cup of redbush and I promised a hot choccie for DD. Tea is yesterday's left over chicken, with some tomato and cucumber for DD (she has had cooked school lunch) and some steamed veggies for me later (I have had salad for lunch).

Need to go early to bed and get up middle of the night for teleseminar at 2 am  Ooops - kettle has boiled, must be off...

Quick hello just to say hi it's windy, ds has done first day at school no probs but after one day is not tired and has come home to tell us he is in Floppy group (dog from Oxford Reading Tree) and his ever so helpful big sister then told him that was the bottom group - his reply "I like dogs and I like bottoms!" I am at a loss for words:rotfl:
