    Try putting in .uk

I don't think it will make a difference - the idea originally I believed was that the link wouldn't be posted in an open fora to stop gremlins from seeing the full link...other side is completely down for me and as MrF is in the air I assume it will be for a wee while.

May I suggest that no one attempts to enter the site till Mr FW clears this up. My vodaphone connection suggests it has dodgy content - that's before it got to my browser or anti virus programme.

Perhaps the govt has heard about the plans for world domination and MI5 or MI6 are hacking us?
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Just checked the other side - and I had put the wrong link - try it with .uk added.

But the site is still there and working fine.

RedSquirrel - when I pop my clogs, I'm going to donate my brain to the Parkinson's society and the rest of me to the national donor scheme (http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/research/parkinsons_brain_bank/brain_donation_questions.aspx). They would like people with or without Parkinson's to donate and my personal view is, once I'm gone, my spirit will be elsewhere so any good bits of my body may as well go to help

How do you de-clutter when you have a packrat for a husband? Any ideas? and I am not on The Matrix just here so have no idea what the challenge is :o

Ooh, always a difficult one. I would suggest getting your own stuff in order first or working on joint spaces such as cupboards, kitchens and bathrooms. Have a look at his habits and see if there's something he habitually leaves lying around that could be herded, rather than decluttered for him?

Tidying or decluttering someone else's stuff, if they're an adult, often lead to sulking, recriminations, rows and general nastiness and there are discussions about this on the Unclutterer.com site and associated forum.

Then again, there was the (brave or foolish) woman who admitted after 6 months that she'd got rid of a load of her husband's stuff. She challenged him to name one thing he'd missed and he hadn't noticed any of it was gone:D

  • Suddenly come over all glum. :(

Had a conversation with LadyJ this lunch time talking about her imminent new arrival and whether she was ready for it. I started the conversation, and she was very nice in her replies, but I just came over all sad all of a sudden. As you all know, I can't have my own babies (or at least, not yet) and so I think this is what I was sad for. She can have them and I can't. S'not fair. :(

I then started about how I might be able to have a family, and thought of the adoption route. So, I went on line and did some digging around. I got so sad at all these poor children living in foster care and not having a family of their own and their early lives, that I got even more upset. :( I really don't think adoption is the right route for my husband and I, at least not at the moment, but I would give my left arm to have a baby. I feel so.... empty. Barren even. :( If you have children, give them a big hug, okay?

I then went onto ebay and bought a cross stitch kit I have been after for ages. And then bid on another one which looked nice! :) Still feeling glum though.

Decluttering when you live with a hoarder eh?

I pack !!!!!!'s stuff into boxes and hide them in the cupboard of doom! If he's not looked for them in 6-9 months I throw it out :) He's not sussed me yet ;)

Of course I am very picky with what I hide... the top that I hate, or the shoes that are too cream for their own good... 6 months worth of motorcycle mags, you understand :D
