Little Dog is going in for his operation tomorrow :( Fortunately the vet has decided he only needs one eye doing, unfortunately there is a very real chance he may not survive the anaestetic (sp?) due to the Cushings and the Diabetes :(

I'm trying not to think about it :( I'm in bits though - especially as I rang my mum to let her know and she called me selfish and said I shouldn't put him through it and should just have him PTS  The way I feel right now I may never speak to her again - especially if I lose him tomorrow :( (I will of course but feel so  right now)

If he was suffering and/or in pain of course I would make the right decision - but he's not - the vet knows he's not, I know he's not, so I know I'm doing the right thing.

So .... prayers and good thoughts please. I will keep you updated.

Apologies for being so off topic - just needed to get it out :A

Thanks for all the good wishes everybody. They cheered my spirits no end :) Definitely a bit better today but not recovered unfortunately. Hopefully tomorrow. I hate being sick :( Colds and flus get me down as much as the next person. But a dodgy stomach??! It's not fair. I mean food poisoning during Ramadan is just ironic in my eyes

Hugest hugs Sarah. It's not easy ever to watch and be unable to make it easier. Fingers crossed and lots of prayers and wishes your way that tomorrow goes ok.

Collected my drawers today, will post a pic when it's all set :)

    One IN
Wilkinson own dry shampoo for brunettes. At 98p I thought it was worth trying. And necessary (been using sister2's since declared my Batiste a UU).

They had Batiste Original at £2.14 & Batiste Diva at £2, but couldnt remember prices in Bs and SD. Also for the Mitchum fans (still to try this but resisted today) the rolls ons were apparently reduced to either 98p or £1 and the sprays to £1.48. Sorry I can't remember the exact costs :o

Going to have a shower and wash my hair, then slather on TBS nectarine & plum body lotion which I'm desperate to UU (and have 3/4 left )

    Hugs to everybody.
No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60

Keeping fingers crossed tomorrow for Little Dog, Sarah. Glad you're feeling a bit better, Sawan.

I have to report 2 INS: a Tangle Teezer brush (not strictly a toiletries 'in' I guess!) and a pack of 4 V05 Hot Oil treatments. Went to the hairdresser's tonight and stylist just kept commenting on how dry and damaged my hair was! She was totally right - it doesn't help that I straighten it every day, and I dye it too. Afterwards I went straight to Boots to purchase the above INs!

I don't even particularly like the haircut - it was meant to be a graduated bob but it's hardly been graduated at all IYSWIM and the front is on a level with my chin - not particularly flattering. I'm also upset because I was trying to grow it out a bit, hadn't cut it for about three months, though in fairness she was probably right to cut it all off as it was in such bad condition - it would only have got worse if I'd left it. Determined to improve the condition of my hair now so I can actually grow it properly.

Trying to keep my dad's saying in mind: "There's only a week between a bad haircut and a good one". He should know, as a child his granda decided to cut his hair one day, with no experience or knowledge - it didn't go well - my grandma was apparently furious!

Went away for 2 nights and thought I'd packed all my toiltries but forgot deordorant, how could I when I bought about 6 a couple of weeks ago with the Dove/ Boots ACM vouchers! :o I did have a shower each day so hopefuly wasn't too smelly! lol
