One UU to report - AVEDA Foot Relief - I LOVE this product. However, I have loads of foot products still to use up, so I wont be buying any more just yet.0 -
Feel better soon Sawan!
1 in today (and free too!) - Chanel Coco Mademoiselle perfume tester. My mum went to Boots and somehow got one of these, but she hates perfume of all kinds so passed it along to me, and I can't stop smelling myself! Love the whole thing. Might have to go and check out the Lidl/Aldi alternative now!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

Memory span of a goldfish.. someone mentioned a few post back about cold sore advice. Can I recomend COMPEED plaster thingy's almost half the time of healing after the the blisters have come up. When there is a tingle stop it all together. Can even put make up over i. Yeaaaay for me ! Far better than zovirax and the like which do nothing for me what so ever. The fact that I can put lippy over the blemish is wonderful.
One use up a time delay balm cleanser, WBA but think it is discontinued. Supposed to be like the Eve Lom one, quite therapeutic.
This thread is great as it makes me use my stash rather than being complacent. I dont think it matters quite what you use, but how regular you are in using it. Well in my case anyway lol
Onwards and outwards xx
Ps looking for a good day time body lotion, that is easily absorbed, find the body butters too heavy for day time use but my skin needs the moisture so cant go without anything. Suggestions please ?0 -
Evening all,
Another UU for me - Body Shop Banana Shampoo. WNBA - I used to love this when it was on the go in the last millenium, was so pleased to see it reappear a couple of years ago. Unfortunately having now used up 2 bottles of the new version I have decided it just isn't what it used to be. Would rather use Pantene or other supermarket shelf shampoo.0 -
Sorry to hear you've been feeling poorly Sawan, and also about Little Dog's eye Sarah.
Clarabow one of the things a lot of us said when we started on the challenge was the fact that actually using the products we had made as much difference as the products themselves!
MrEH announced earlier that he was going to need some more shower gel soon so I helpfully pointed out that I reckoned I could let him top his little bottle up from my stash! He only uses shower gel for the showers at rugby so can have a little of my part used BS Sweet Lemon one. I need to sort out toiletries for my travel bag as well to take down to Devon - need to make sure I clear my Molton Brown stuff out as if my little neice gets hold of it it won't last long!
One UU to report - that Clinique Superbalm Lip Gloss I was talking about being a splutterer yesterday. I've now got as much out of it as I can so I'm calling it dead. WIBA? Absolutely! My next one is already in use!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

A couple of uu to report,
M&S peach & almond handwash, this didn't seem to last as long as other handwashes, it was quite thin, wba though as it did the job and is only a £1, would try another fragrance though as I'm not a peach fan. Am using my curdled 500ml clean on me as handwash now, smells fine and seems to be ok apart from the look of it.
Palmolive sensitive soap, this is really nice and i have 3 more in the stash to use, onto a BS Moringa soap now.
Also have some (shameful) ins,
No17 photo flawless foundation and mascara, my DD talked me into these as you got a lovely little compact with two eyeshadows, blusher and lippy free. The eyeshadows are very flattering. Also got the new garnier BB thingy, was £9.99 but I had £6 in garnier vouchers so £3.99 wasn't too bad.The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Four OUTs this morning:
Clinique All About Eyes 7ml - this is the sample I got with Glamour a few months back. Not sure if WBA as I didn't feel it made an enormous amount of difference, although that might have been my own slack application. Will possibly move onto a different product now - thinking of Lush Enchanted Eye Cream but haven't deciced 100% yet - and think about the Clinique one when I have a bit more money.
Batiste Dry Shampoo Brit 150ml - WBA as the product works well at refreshing my hair and I also think it's got the best smell of all the Batiste dry shampoos. It's good value as well at around £2 a can.
I also threw out two Benefit Playsticks foundations in Spin The Bottle which I planned to use the dregs of as concealer, but with the Benefit Eyebright pencil and the little bit of Boi-ing concealer in one of my eye palettes I've decided there's probably no point in keeping them. As well as that I'm going to start an essentials list of things that I use regularly and split my list into necessary and unnecessary toiletries, as that is after all the thread title (and also I'm starting to run out of foundation so that'll take me over my September budget completely...)"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
