Lady morticia, you hair colour looks really, really good, i was expecting more blue (i have seen a lot of people around with blue hair recently) but your raven blue colour looks great.

How often do you ladies do your home dye, I had my hair cut yesterday and some of my grey is showing through again, don't really have many but the few i have are showing. I last coloured about 6 weeks ago, would it be too soon to do it again?

  • Evening :-)

    Used up two items :-
Sanctuary body wash WNBA nothing to write home about though nice smell.
BS Cranberry body butter, nice and part of a gift set prefer the mango one.

Oh and some bathroom cleaner but I guess that doesn't count lol

Operation phase one of stash list complete, downstairs done. Only the stash upstairs to go. Who needs over 13 shower gels, all full size? I ask you ! Dont think I can cope with counting the trail or travel sizes.

    Onwards x

Loads of people on MSE were expecting it to be more blue. :p I guess the name "cosmic blue" is a bit misleading if you haven't seen the box! :rotfl:

Thanks. :) I like changing my hair colour. I can't control alot of the things in my environment but one thing I can control is my style! :D

It does look good LM and I am a big fan of that philosophy, can't control my disability much but can control how I look in other ways.

Most of you may recall I had A Bit of A Disaster with the Clairol Foam dye med. brown that turned me black on Foam Party night. I try and do my hair about every 2/3 mos so I'm due a colour (6 weeks isn't too soon, I've done it twice in a week when the colour was carp, but Clairol Foam ruined the condition so that wasn't an option)
Well... I still have one foam. Last time I left in on for about 25 mins as it took me that long to clean the cowing bathroom.
I'm gonna look up the instrucs again, cut the time to 15 mins and give it a go, having covered the bathroom in black bath sheets.
    Brave... or foolish? Let's see.

Edit... Chickening out and going to use a lighter brown from stash ... MakeUp Alley was swamped with DON'T DO IT reviews that I read en route to the Clairol site, many mentioned black from med. brown, same result I got first time. The charity shop can have it.

Im feeling very jealous of you all changing hair colour now - I might have to go and home brew my last foam (the dark red works ok in my hair - feel quite bad that I seem to be one of the few people who likes the clairol foam!!!) later.

Need to check the nail varnish remover situation first though - for getting it off my ears.... have a good Sunday people !!!

Trudi, just smear your ears /hairline with Vaseline (or anything similar) before you start, then the dye can't get at your skin to stain it. I always do this. It works.
Ok... confession time. Boots have much nicer OS gels/creams than the other places currently selling it for a quid. So we have a not necessary chocolate and mint shower cream IN plus one as a gift for my daughter, and the lovely men's kelp/sea salt for my son.

Lady Morticia - great hair, I loved the red too!

I've got a lot of INs (again), very lucky this month with my competitions :) Received a Sanctuary Spa Therapies Relax and Unwind kit, containing 100ml bath soak (don't have any), 50ml cocooning body butter (have loads :) ), 50ml softening thermal sugar polish (don't have any body scrub, I'm curious about this one's warming effect), 2x15ml massage oil and a massage stone, which is a circular ceramic container you fill with warm water and use for massage - I already tested it on my boyfriend who has a bad back and it's really easy on my hands, I like it - sometimes when I'm giving massage by hand it starts aching.

    Also have some UU's
L'Oreal True Match Minerals SPF15 foundation - WNBA, it was ok but nothing special - I didn't like the radiant look, and it was highlighting some imperfections. Lasted more than 12 months. I'm not buying any more mineral powder foundations, they really don't work for me. Now moved onto Bourjois Mineral Matte (mousse foundation) and it's AMAZING. A shame it's discontinued.
Olay 3 point serum 7ml - WNBA - it was good but I'm too young for it.
  • Afternoon all I have some UU's Happy Hair Days Marshmallow and Coconut shampoo WIBA Yes! but not yet as I have a large Tigi to use!

L'Oreal damage care conditioning repair spray - WIBA maybe but as a leave in conditioner I dont know it repaired much! I still prefer Aussie!

L'Oreal gentle eye make up remover - WIBA Yes I would but I did find that I had to scrub a bit harder to get off my panda eyes. My faves are No7 and TBS chamomile but I would get this again. Onto a garnier one now.

Some Ins to report No7 Lucky Lilac Nail Varnish cant wait to try this out later! A hot cloth radiance boost cleanser, eye make up remover and the new lash building mascara and the free gift!
