I need help - I coloured my hair last night with a medium ash blonde colour which turned out brunette - any suggestions on how to lighten it.
No more UU's to report but 1 out via the FB swapsies.
Hope everyone is fine and have a great MS week xMFW - currently at £23,610 (Aug 2014) MFD 20200 -
Evening all, just thought I would post my one and only use up so far this month:-
Coconut shower gel - this was HUGE bottle along the lines of Philosophy stuff but regretfully just a Tesco own brand:rotfl:. WIBA - Not particulary, nothing wrong with it but it lasted a bit too long and I ended up not noticing the smell. I prefer something I can get to the bottom of before the smell novelty wears off.
I will now be using a horrid lavender shower gel that I have for a few days while waiting on my body lotion to be uu. I'll then move onto a Body Shop shower gel and butter matching set:D.
I really hate lavender and have had this one for ages, only use it in between if I need to something to use while I wait on finishing up a body lotion iysiwm.
Edit - Just finished a Simple toner as well - WIBA - Yes, love Simple products although I usually end up buying BS vitamin E!0 -

HI,
I'm no expert on these things at all but have noticed that vosene shampoo really strips colour out, might be enough to remove the darker tones?0 -

Savers sell a hair dye remover, I can't remember the name of it though, but it is new to the shelves and with the hair dyes.
I would also ring the advice line for that brand and complain. When Clairol Foam Medium Brown turned my hair near black I was sent vouchers as compensation.
A freebie IN - I bought September's Red magazine with a lovely Balance Me body wash freebie. I got the Rose Otto variant, another one that my DS won't nick. Samples of Sanex shower gel and just 5ml of Palmer's Body Butter in the mag. too.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -

Hope you're okay, and everyone else in London is too. I'm in Ealing and there was apparently rioting here but I didn't hear anything last night except loads of sirens. Worried about what I'll see when I head to work. :eek:Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

Do you know if a black spray bottle from their toners counts as a pot?0 -

Head and Shoulders (or most anti-dandruff shampoos) strip colour from the hair so that could be used to maybe lighten the colour.
Also, there's a colour remover called B4 Colour Remover. You can get it in Boots but I think it's a bit pricey so other places might sell it cheaper.2019 Wins

One OUT for me in the shower this morning - The Body Shop Banana Shampoo. WBA as it smells lovely, is reasonably priced at £3.99 a bottle and makes my hair very soft. Still have some of the matching conditioner left but will use that as shaving cream to get it used up. I've now moved on to Body Shop Rainforest Moisture shampoo and conditioner."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0
