Have cleaned the living room (despite the fact that, in the opinion of DS, it didn't need doing. Well, lets just say some of us have higher standards than others of us:))
and have ironed and done more washing and ironing all away.
Offered DS half a pizza for an early lunch. He wasn't interested so made a sandwich. DS noticed this and asked for one. So I made him one (yes he could have made his own but re earlier comment about standards - well some of us can use the kitchen and leave it looking like a before picture from How Clean is Your House). Mind you (cackles evilly) he had the plate I had just finished with, much reducing the washing-up pile). Then he wanted another. No could do as I had used up all the ham by this point. So he had a whoopsied hot x bun.
Then I went to get my feet done - nails properly trimmed and filed (didn't giggle even though it does tickle) and hard skin scalpeled off - bliss! MUST remember skin softening socks and I shall use the Burt's Bees foot cream I got from a pupil!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hello again. Hope you're all having a good day.
 hello right back at you boddy xx
I'm loving the frog idea and I attacked a few frogs today without realising it. Not done a list as such but i've;
- walked dogs
- thrown a load of birthday/get well etc cards that i'd been hoarding
- put all children's homemade cards to me in one place
- emptied a gibble drawer - either chucked stuff, put it on view or charity bagged it
- got DD to empty DW
- worked for a couple of hours
- shellac'ed my nails
- downloaded some books to my kindle
- emptied another drawer of gibble (as above)
- put all birthday paper/bags in one place
- freed up a drawer for shoes so they're not all over bedroom floor
- encoured daughter to make chocolate brownies (mmmmmmmm)
Now i'm going to do rockstar toes ready for hols.
Off I go.......0 -
frog has gone in the form of clothes storage, my bedroom looks so much neater. also decluttered a snooze, dreading going back to work next week but am so glad and grateful that they are letting me do part tiem hours for about 6/7 weeks and then back to full time hours which will also be for 6 weeks or so before i then go on maternity leave for 1 year :j
another frog about to be done in the form of boxes from babys room to recycling as its bin day tomorow. i am not having it hanging round for another 2 weeks, so they can all get chucked.0 -
i am totally fed up of the terrible 2 tantrums!!
yes DS2 isnt feeling great but i am sick fed up of him screaming at me when he doesnt like my answer! really its riduclious! i cant deal with it much longer he needs to snap out of it.
2nd night in a row he hasnt eaten his tea but is now trying to get me to give him pudding. no chance mate! he can stand and scream at me all he likes but ill still be saying no! im ignoring him for now but oh my gosh my head is so sore and its not fair on DS1 who has taken to putting his fingers in his ears everytime his baby brother starts his carry on. he was actually crying tonight too coz he says he is fed up of DS2 crying all the time.
tonight is basic ironing so i have clothes to wear tomorrow and friday then im sitting down with a vodka!Countdown to Discharge Is On!

Gilly - try removing him for a time out away from the table.
Not for refusing to eat but for the fussing when he doesn't get his own way.
But you have my sympathies IT IS hard. Having said that, as long as you are consistent he will get the message eventually.
DD has returned from her sleepover and requested a chippy tea. I have requested a room tidy - first. NO sign of anyone departing for the chippy;)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
