Good morning
Pigpen - lovely photo
Ok - I am up & dressed. That is an achievement!!
I am going to make some phone calls & sort out the home insurance first, I think. I can't leave this one, because I am on automatic renewal & want to change. The Halifax refused to let me have accidental damage because I am a childminder! This was not made clear when I took out the policy  I am a year older & wiser now, and am shopping around. Direct Line don't appear to penalise me for my job, so I will ring them to clarify. Aviva will insure, but had certain conditions, like having a maximum of 6 children (including my own!) Ofsted allow me to have more (if I wanted them) and my Public Liability covers me for 12, so what is their problem!!
(Rant over)
Then i will check out the lists. I NEED to clear off the paper & toot from the side table - especially as juice got spilt over it last night  (I may have to ban drinks from the LR - except for me, of course!)
I need to get going, and get as much done as possible while I am waiting for the girls to get their lazy backsides out of bed!
Off I go....0 -
I wasn't quite sure what to do to run the WM on a *clean cycle*. Looking through the OS forum I could see that I needed to use white vinegar but not sure about the rest - just checked my "Ask Aggie" book and she said to use the white vinegar on the highest temperature setting to ensure all mould and that goes as well.
Well the highest temp setting of 90 is only available on the cotton setting and the machine tells me that's going to take just shy of 3 hours!! My word, thats a long time...0 -
QOTD its worth it though as my machine seems to smell much better after ive done a hot wash. i usually stick some soda crystals in if ive no white vinegar.
Also, im pleased to say The biatch is back, its amazing how just blowdrying my hair and putting on make up makes me feel like the old me. going to have to make the effort each morning again as I got sloppy.0 -
anyone elses kids totally ignoring them today?
3 times ive told the boys to leave the tv as they have knackered the button but will they listen? NO LIKE HECK THEY HAVE!!
argh!!! glad im getting shot of them in about 10 mins for an hour. off to get eyebrows waxed as they are horrendous and then get pain inflicted by my physio.
catch you all later!Countdown to Discharge Is On!

Morning everyone
Really pleased for you Greenbee - hope they sort some appropriate treatment quickly
Huge amounts to do today - so far I have done one load through the WM, and cooked a packet of chick peas for freezing so not exactly motoring through.
Today I need to:
make birthday cake for DS2
ring and get the free 7 day insurance on the new car
clean out DHs car ready to go, find the paperwork for tomorrow
find the paperwork ready to sell my car
collect two parcels from the post office
library so boys can get their smelly stickers
chase up NRAM
and probably 20 other things that I have forgotten, memory span of a gold fish at the moment.
I am going to get dressed and then do a HHC 10.15-10.45 if anyone wants to join me
I have 7 watchers on my first ebay listing but no bids yet. Is that good or bad?'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
