Good intentions - as the second one covers business toys you might be able to out the difference between the two policies against tax as a business expense...0

Ok in my HHC which overran a bit I managed to:
Write A's card
Sort holiday books
Tidy away the box of books I had in the downstairs hallway - now all in my room if not quite on the bookshelf yet
Put the washing on
Sort my clothes to take on holiday - all in a pile in the suitcase but not packed yet so i can check i have the right undies and shoes for each outfit
Go through some old photos - found a few of dad that i don't have copies of so will sort out getting copies
So lots of jobs half done but not completed. and I chipped a nail so they need redoing before thursday arg.

Goodintentions - what excess do you have to pay on each? Are you likely to use it if it's just toys that are damaged? On the other hand if it's your laptop then obviously that would be worth doing. You'd have it as an expense on your accounts anyway so there might not be that much difference. Having said that, I've never heard of Blufin - are they any good? That probably didn't help at all did it!
That did helpI don't usually put any home insurance through my accounts, but as this is extra cover for business use, that is a legit expense - hadn't thought of that.
I wouldn't claim for individual toys, but if we had a major disaster, the total amount would be quite a lot!
thank you! i knew you guys would help :T
Table is clear - but it is all on the sofa now! I don't think i have quite got the hang of this de-clutttering lark :rotfl:
1 bag of recycling out. DD2 is dressed and appears to be waiting for me to take her clothes shopping!
ETA - Greenbee - thanks. I missed your comment when i was posting, but i agree0 -

Morning all, hope everyone is well ....
I've been MIA for a few months, but finally college is finished for the year, I'm home for 2 days this week and next week I have the week off to spend with LO ... so I want to get stuck into a bit of low flying.... not aiming at being too ambitious to start with as it's all a bit overwhelming !!!
This week apart from trying to cover the dailies (blimey, that would be a start!) and attempting level one on things, I also want to get a realistic mealplan together that we will stick to, rather than being too knac**red to care and resorting to take out
I haven't caught up on the thread yet, so apologies if I'm missing something major, will attempt to catch up with it later.
But, first off to read what I ought to have done yesterday and what needs doing today and putting a load of washing on .... be back later!

back home after a pointless trip to the hospital
first of all I had to got 18 miles to a hospital not just down the road to our local perfectly good/big hospital
got there and there was no consultant in the clinic just a clinical nurse specialist
they didn't have my notes so I had to go over it all yet again
she didn't know why I'd been referred because my test results were what they would call 'normal'
'we'll put you on a waiting list to go to ******(yet another hospital miles from home) for another ultrasound (because they didn't have the results of the one I had all of 3 weeks ago) and a cystoscopy'
GRRRRRR 'Can I go to ******** instead?'
'oh yes no reason why not'
******* so I drove home again
now going for a nap as didn't sleep last night as had bee told that I would be having the cystoscopy today so was anxious
Now I have to wait for another appointment
sigh
will do some flying when I get up again!!!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
pigpen That is a gorgeous photo.
I haven't started on the kitchen yet. But have been to docs for new prescription for me, chatted about DH and came home.
When I got in DH asked what doc said about my eye! I forgot all about it but it is only a sty and will soon go I am sure. Use to get them a lot as a child.
As it is raining DH is at home today and he and DS3 have sorted the ROD with me helping a bit.
msg How annoying. Can you ask for travel costs to be reimbursed? Though you can't do anything about the wasted time.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Vanilla - if I only did half of what you manage to fit into each day, this house would be fine.
There were other things I wanted to say, but lost internet access on p.8 and now I can't remember.
Not a great start to the day. I got up late and then managed to fritter away the rest of the morning, not doing anything productive. Note to self: I must have a bath before bedtime, so I can get out straight away the next day. We've now missed the market with the nice fruit and veg stall.Looks like it will be a trip to Mr M's later.
Anyway, DS2 and I are going to make a start on the LR in a bit, to continue the WIP I started yesterday. Must also get washing out and put the WM on again. At least if feels like my get up and go is back. If I start with a HHC at 12.45 (can't believe it's so late already), then I'll probably carry on. Tomorrow I will set the alarm and get up at a reasonable time!0
