Lovefilm are currently letting all past members use the three months free code that was sent out to all paying customers for Christmas presents.
I agree with Trace.
Clear all your selections and return all dvds.
Then when you receive their notification, cancel subscription.
No need for Recorded delivery if you do it a week in advance.0 -
I am new to all this and joined quidco at the weekend and signed up for Lovefilm trial (think it is 3 weeks). I don't even really want the dvds I've ordered so can I cancel now or do I have to wait until I have actually received some? Reading the posts on here I am worried that if I leave it too late I might get charged. Seems too good to be true getting money for nothing on quidco but if others are doing it then I guess I should have a go too!Proud to be dealing with my debts0

We sent all our dvds back to Lovefilm and then cancelled. Although we cancelled via the internet we were still given a message that we had to telephone them to confirm this. When we phoned and said we were off to Amazon they offered us 3 months free.0

I did the £15 Boots vouchers trial with Lovefilm. I didn't really want the DVD's but they were free, so may as well. I cancelled well within the cancellation period, but still haven't had my Boots vouchers, thinking it may be because of the Christmas/New Year post, but was wondering if anyone else has had theirs yet?
PS the guy who took our cancellation call asked why we were cancelling and we said "cos the dvd player's broke", he seemed pretty happy with that answer, and obviously no point in offering an extended trial!0 -
We just cancelled our Tesco DVD subscription - powered by Lovefilm - on 31st Dec online, sent DVD in standard post on 2nd Jan from our village postbox, shows as received today, 3rd Jan! Just as well since the cancellation date is tomorrow..... I've kept a copy of the web page in case there are any queries.
So no complaints with their cancellation service here so far.
regards

I'm cancelling too!!! Via Tesco DVD rental. I've removed all my request list and have gone on a payment holiday until the 16th (2 weeks at payment was due beining of the month). I was just gonna send back with proof of postage, but I might got for recordered! But that's another £3 wasted!Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 092

^That's what happened to me. I didn't realise I had to call until I happened to log in again to see if it had processed the cancellation (and thus prevent me from logging in) and instead saw a message saying to phone. Called, seemed to be an Indian call centre (or just an Indian woman with a very very strong accent). I just said I didnt really use the service as much as I'd wanted. She didn't seem bothered with my reason and it cancelled easy peasy.:rotfl:0
