    Hello Everyone
Have been MIA for a few days as firstly was grumpy(for no reason)
& didn't have much to say :o then on Weds I had to have an MRI for my back, letter said it would take 20-40 mins, an hour & 10 minutes I was in the machine  both my knee & my back had locked by the time it was over & I was so dehydrated I was weaving about like a drunk:rotfl:I was  at myself because I'd left my bottle of water at home along with my purse.
Anyhoo the mad declutter/deep clean has begun today in honour of DM's approaching visit, DP & DS have mowed & strimmed both gardens so outside is looking good :A I have done several loads of washing which is drying nicely, also picked some blackberries & green beans & 2 whole raspberries:p

Congratulations & best wishes to those who have had birthdays & anniversaries that I have missed,
Hugs to those that need them x
Spoons & hi5's all round & welcome/welcome back to the newbies & returnees,
Am off now to make coleslaw, too hot for a roast so cold pork, hg salad & jacket spuds for tea tonight.

Hope you all have a happy sunday x

    Afternoon all

BITSY I had one of those days yesterday too, think it was looking at my projected NHS Pension and realising it wasn't worth getting out of bed for! Have a hug.

    HEDGESPARROW Welcome.

Have got DS back from his Dad's. Wish he wanted to go there a bit more often, problem is ExOH lives in his own world and only wants to do the things he wants to do.

Have been happily pottering, more washing on the line and ironing done, have to do it as it's ready as I hate it so much. Have made some sausage rolls, which DS was impressed with and a wholemeal loaf. Found a load of blackberries in my garden so I picked them :D.
    Tea tonight is pepperoni pizza.

    Have a good night all

I've just booked our somewhat belated honeymoon, 4 nights in a caravan in Chichester, we're really looking forward to it.
I want to go to the Weald & Downland Open Air Museum & spend one day mooching round Chichester, hubby can choose the other 2 days activity.
I'm taking bacon & sausages with me, but we are only having breakfast in the caravan & we'll eat out for the rest of the meals.
    Hugs Hester

Afternoon and thank you for the welcomes!

It is definately a washing drying day today isn't it? Mine is on the airer in the conservatory as we still don't have a washing line. I have tidied the conservatory, bathroom, bedroom and spare room so just the living room and the kitchen diner to go. Eek.

I also took earthy skins off all our onions and garlic that were drying out and put them in bags to store. STILL need to menu plan. Good news is that Mr Hedgesparrow called and said that as he helped our friends clear up after their party they gave him some left over sausages and buns so thats tea sorted!

Hester, I love the sound of your honeymoon. I love staying in caravans. My favourite is when it rains and you can just sit with a cup of tea and play cluedo and do nothing! Hope it doesn't rain for you though - unless you are as odd as me and like it!

This afternoon I collected DS2 and his GF from the music festival - tired, dirty and hot but had a great time:D DS has had a bath and a snack and is off to bed for a nap before dinner.
DH has also gone for a nap as he's no eeling too well and the heat doesn't agree with him plus he's up at 2am tomorrow for work!

House clean and tidy, all the ironing is done and DSs dirty stuff is in the machine now.

Hpe everyone's well, off to catch up now!

Thats my nearest town :D, takes me about 5 mins to get there, the Weald and Down museum is great, and there is a lovely pub in the next village along, great food, also there is Goodwood motor circuit very close to the museum, they sometimes have things on there the minder might enjoy that. Also next to the museum is Goodwood hill, if you can, take a walk up there, Its not too far, there is a giant sculpture on the top of a horses head, its bigger than a house, you can also see down over the race course, beautiful views. Chichester is a nice town for shopping, although a bit pricey, it has a load of charity shops, and a beautiful cathederal which is worth a look round.

Let me know if I can be of any help with anything x

I want some winter boots (ugg type preferably) but want the price tag to be a little less. Anyone got any suggestions? I can pick up really cheap imitation ones in town for about £6, but they don't last. My real ones which died this year saw me through 4 winters.

sorry I am reading and running, but I got these boots last year, I wore them every day in the winter when I didn't need wellies and have carried on wearing them into this summer we have had! only thing wrong with them now is they are going a bit green at the toe and I use a magic marker to cover it :rotfl: the backs are as strong as every, I know floppy backs are a problem with the cheapy ones. also the added bonus with these is that they are suposed to tone you up as you walk, not sure about that, but thought the price was good for these sort of boots especially as the heels don't break down.

Jackie G - please keep on posting the details of the wedding. I love a good wedding xx

I have had a mega busy day and very annoying too. Well yesterday and today have been with incompetent staff, bureaucracy and just downright rudeness :mad::mad:

I have also been busy in kitchen and we have made some cakes, a diam bar cheesecake, a blackberry crumble and a chicken roast dinner:T:T:T
Should keep the kids happy for a few days x

Flopped now and Kids Dad has gone to bed as feeling poorly which worries me as this happens very rarely. I think he has poisoned himself as he was creosoting our summerhouse and i have noticed before that it affects him badly. Hopefully he will be ok tomorrow as I have a long awaited appointment with the neurosurgeon tomorrow xx
