Feeling pretty poo as well (hence needing to cheer up with alkifrol) - keep arguing with my best friend. We don't spend much time together anymore because as she put it "I want to go out and have fun, not just hang around at each others houses. You need to lighten up".
I've tried to tell her I really can't afford to go out, but she has waaay more disposable income than me (I have none!) and I don't think she understands where I am coming from! And if I do go out, I can't stop thinking about the money I am spending on overpriced drinks and then I am not very good company anyway
Not much I can do about it really but just needed get it off my chest. Sorry
JCG x
(((Hugs))) JCG, there's no need to apologise, we're all here for you xx:A
That's not an easy situation to be in, other people's expectations can be difficult to manage and that's where a lot of friendships come unstuck. Could you maybe use some of the discount vouchers on here to go for a more reasonably-priced night out and then go somewhere your friend wants to go but cut down on the drinks?
I think we've probably all been in this situation and it's not nice to feel you no longer have anything in common with someone who you consider to be your best friend. Hopefully you can find some way of resolving this but, if not, it may just be time to move on unfortunately.
More (((hugs)))

Good morning all!
Saturday at last!
Today I'm off to get my hair done - cut, colour and highlights, the full bhuna today! Cant wait as I cant see for my fringe in my eyes. I feel like cousin IT from the Adaams family.
Not sure what else I'm up to, but I'm going to try to steer clear of spending anything. I have my hols in 4 weeks so I could do with conserving if poss.

Morning all!
BDINI - Hope the date went well??
Just popping in to say that today wont be a NSD for me as I bought 2 bits of furniture for DD bedroom from Te**o direct in their clearance. I figured I'd use some of the funds from e*ay as she desperately needs more storage and I'm trying to make her room more of a little girls room than a baby room.
Off out tomorrow for lunch with the In laws, they have kindly said they'll pay as they know our financial situation, so it may or may not be a NSD tomorrow (we'll probably buy a few drinks as a thanks).
Hope you all enjoy the sun over the weekend :-)0 -
NSD no 14 for me yesterday please Spoon. Only 1 more until I reach my target. I may not get it this weekend, but I will do my best.
Have a great weekend everyone :beer:NSD Challenge January 2/15
